Meituan delivery is really a scam. I worked for a few days last month on Meituan’s takeout delivery and made more than 200 orders. As of this month, I haven’t been paid a cent in salary.
When I first went there, I was told it would cost 4 yuan per order. However, when I signed the contract, I found out that all the messy rules and subsidies written on it gave me an average of 4 yuan per order. When I joined the company, I was told that the site would provide electric vehicles free of charge for the first three months. In the third month, I would buy my own car or rent one.
I thought about providing a car for free, so let’s try it first. I got familiar with running orders for three days, and asked the site system to open four orders for delivery. I drove four orders and found that it could only deliver five orders at most in an hour. Seeing that the top three on the site’s delivery list could deliver seventy or eighty orders every day, I wondered how they could do it. I know that one morning at 9 o'clock, I went to the entrance of the supermarket to wait to receive an order. The system sent me an order 2km away. When I picked up the order, I found that there were three more orders behind me very close to each other. They were almost from the same place. I could receive four orders at the same time, but one order was sent to me and the next three orders were not sent to me. It is really nonsense.
What I want to say the most is the issue of how to treat delivery staff. To be fair, there is really no need to accommodate delivery staff. It is only a small number of people who make money. They take 8.9 orders or even more than 10 orders at the same time. Many people cannot take orders. There were so many overtimes and the food was spilled. Evening out the orders wouldn't have caused so many problems.
Meituan has too many problems with its delivery, no wonder it has always been at the forefront of public opinion [laughing and crying]
