Junction News Recently, the project "Research and Application of Intelligent Early Warning and Disposal Technology for Ice and Snow Disasters on Bridge Deck in the Middle and Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River" organized and completed by the Zhenjiang Transportation and Highways Department won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Transportation Association.

It is understood that this project uses cloud platform big data analysis and processing, Internet of Things and other technologies, and is based on traffic meteorological big data and thermal spectrum technology to carry out research on intelligent early warning and disposal technology for ice and snow disasters on bridge decks in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It has achieved a number of innovative results: based on historical meteorological data, bridge deck meteorological monitoring data, thermal spectrum map information, etc., a low-temperature ice condensation early warning on the bridge deck has been established. model, developed a bridge deck ice early warning system and a refined traffic weather monitoring and early warning platform; developed a solid-liquid phase change material active ice early warning sensor with Peltier effect components; developed a rotating variable frequency type snow melting agent smart spray terminal, proposed a snow melting agent spraying and disposal strategy under different ice and snow conditions on the bridge deck, and developed an automated ice disposal system. According to the evaluation of the expert group, the research results of this project have generally reached the international advanced level. Among them, the system and method of predicting road surface temperature based on the highway geographical environment have reached the international leading level.

This project has obtained a number of invention patents , utility model patents and software copyrights . The research results have been successfully applied on highway bridges in Zhenjiang, Wuxi and other places, realizing early warning and intelligent treatment of ice and snow on the bridge deck, achieving significant social and economic benefits, and having broad prospects for promotion and application.
