Recently, cyber criminals released data stolen from Medibank. The attackers are believed to be linked to a Russian-backed REvil ransomware gang, who posted an update on their darknet blog in the early hours of last Thursday, "Happy Cybersecurity Day! Folders are full, the case is over." Medibank confirmed in November that the attackers stole 9.7 million customer personal details and health claims data from nearly 500,000 customers. Apple's recent recruitment announcement shows that the company is recruiting neural rendering research scientists, hoping to achieve a fully immersive 3D experience on the upcoming VR headset. 13. Google , Byte, Meta teamed up to boycott Canada's unreasonable demands

December 6 news, Google's parent company Alphabet, Facebook parent company Meta Platform and TikTok's parent company ByteDance are boycotting a proposal from Canada that will mandate digital platforms to display Canadian content more prominently and compensate local news organizations. The new regulations will require modification of existing algorithms to enable if Canadians search on YouTube, the results will mainly display videos of Canadian artists, rather than content produced by foreign or US. The proposed legislation will also entrust digital media companies to pay annually for Canadian art worlds.
