The reason for the recall is that the limit of phthalate plasticizer in accessible plastic parts exceeds the requirements stipulated in GB 21027-2020 "General Requirements for Safety of Student Supplies".
In addition, Pulux Stationery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. announced the recall of some WAIR-IN rubber 36-428, involving 176,000 pieces. The reason for the recall is also "the limit of phthalate plasticizer in accessible plastic parts exceeds the requirements stipulated in GB 21027-2020 "General Requirements for Safety of Student Supplies".
It is understood that phthalate plasticizers are reproductive toxic, have high migration properties, are easily released from the product, and can enter the human body through respiratory tract, digestive tract, skin, etc., and have endocrine interference characteristics similar to hormones, affecting the human hormone system, and may cause "feminization" in boys and premature puberty in children.
Soft plastic toys and children's supplies containing phthalate may be put into the children. If left for a long time, it will cause the dissolution of phthalate to exceed the safe level, thus endangering the health of children.
In terms of specific recall measures, Dachuang has removed the eraser on the store's shelf; its stock is completely destroyed and will no longer be sold; a recall plan is posted in a prominent location of the store, the sold eraser will be recalled and returned and refunded, and the online store will be notified to stop selling, and the sold products will be recalled by return and refunded. Plux will release a recall plan on its official website to inform consumers to stop using it and contact the agent to arrange other PLUS products of value such as return, exchange or replacement.
