Geospatial data cloud is a one-stop cloud service platform that comprehensively solves geoscience data search, acquisition, online computing, professional mapping, data crowdsourcing, knowledge contribution sharing, etc. The access URL is: http://www.gscloud.cn.
geospatial data cloud has accumulated 776TB of physical data, 420,000 registered users of real name, 1 PB of online downloads, 100,000 online tasks, and 8,200 scientific research projects, greatly promoting the openness and sharing of data in my country.
The advantages of geospatial data cloud are mainly reflected in:
1, free data open sharing: gathers high-quality geospatial data resources at home and abroad, and provides free online listing, query, download, reservation, batch application and other services.
2, domestic high-resolution data comprehensive integration: comprehensively integrate real-time updates and data services for domestic high-resolution remote sensing data such as Gaofen No. 1, Gaofen No. 2, Resource No. 3, Gaojing Data.
3. Automatic intelligent data aggregation: solves automatic intelligent data aggregation and cluster high-concurrent search, realizing global metadata aggregation and millisecond-level space-time search.
4, innovative data crowdsourcing service: For the first time, geospatial data crowdsourcing services were proposed and innovatively practiced in China, greatly improving the quality and efficiency of data processing.
The functions of geospatial data cloud mainly include:
1, data integration search: realize multi-variable integrated search based on data sets, spatial information, time information and map interoperability
2, model online computing: provide online customized computing of multiple analysis models, realize cloud-wide converged efficient computing service based on elastic computing resource scheduling
3, iCarto cloud mapping: provides data management, map rendering, map release and other functions for massive multi-source heterogeneous spatio-temporal data, and supports innovative scientific research and application of spatial data
4, data crowdsourcing: provides demand collection, data gathering, task gathering, and other functions, and realizes demand collection, data sharing, task release, and collection.
Typical application
Hotland type extraction
1 based on Landsat8 and high-resolution image of Henan Yellow River Basin wetland type extraction
1, area description
Henan Province Yellow River basin, with an area of about 1300 square kilometers
2, the data used in the original data
are all from the geospatial data cloud (GS Cloud) provides Landsat8 remote sensing images from six periods in 1988, 1993, 1999, 2002, 2007 and 2014, as well as Resource No. 3 (multi-spectral and full-color band) images and Gaofen1 high-resolution remote sensing images;
3, classification standard
is based on Landsat8 remote sensing images, and land use type is divided into 6 categories, namely rivers, wetlands, farmlands, construction land, bare land, and forest land.
Based on high-resolution remote sensing images, land use types are divided into 6 categories: farmland, forest land, grassland, construction land, bare land, and wetlands. Among them, wetlands are subdivided into 6 subcategories, namely: river waters, river flood wetlands, agricultural wetlands, reservoir/reservoir wetlands, artificial canals, and urban landscape river entertainment wetlands, a total of 11 categories. For wetland classification, wetland classification systems can be used to refer to existing wetland classification systems, such as the classification results of the Wetland Convention and China Wetland Survey, as well as the national wetland classification system based on remote sensing formulated by Niu Zhenguo et al. (Niu Zhenguo et al., 2009). The specific description is as follows:
(1) River waters: permanent or seasonal rivers, streams and deltas; artificially excavated main rivers;
(2) River flood wetlands: seasonal flooding agricultural land; seasonal or intermittent flooding;
(3) Agricultural wetlands: agricultural ponds and reservoirs; aquatic ponds; rice fields; small ditches/canals;
(4) Reservoir/reservoir wetlands: reservoirs formed by reservoirs, river bars and embankments;
(5) Artificial canals: artificially excavated straight canals, excluding artificially excavated main river channels;
(6) Urban landscape river entertainment wetlands.
4, quality control
classification boundaries are accurate and clear; based on high-resolution images, the classification accuracy is 2 meters (using images with a resolution of 2 meters after full-color band fusion for classification).
