It is reported that Google Home smart speakers now seem to be able to speak N-word (racially sensitive terms), which was to be censored before. TikTok user @ohgustie uploaded a video that showed that Google Home Mini speaker repeated the title of the song "N***as In Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West but did not delete it. Instead, Doja Cat's "Ain't Shit" was deleted.

The user named Shay told Gizmodo, who reported the incident earlier, that their Google speakers had reviewed the term before.
According to Gizmodo, it is not clear when the speaker of Google stopped censoring the N-word, but Shay's speaker blocked the word at least once the video was uploaded.
Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment on how this happened, nor did the company respond to a similar question from Gizmodo about the issue. Although it is very different from the 2016 Microsoft chatbot when it was corrupted into a "lustful racist" by Twitter users, both incidents pushed the parent company's apology, which Microsoft said at the time that its technology did not meet this standard.
