"2021 Western China Cross-border E-commerce Expo" (hereinafter referred to as "Cross Expo") will be held on September 9 -11 held in Chengdu. The e-commerce (cross-border) industry belts in Sichuan Province have seized rare opportunities. Enterprises from Neijiang City, Nanchong City, Luzhou City and other places will all participate in the exhibition. The Cross-Expo will also host a number of high-level forums and summits to bring exhibitors and visitors the latest information and business opportunities in the cross-border industry.
According to customs statistics, in the first half of this year, Sichuan’s total import and export value of goods trade was 418.95 billion yuan, ranking 8th in the country, an increase of 16.1% over the same period last year. In the first half of the year, Chengdu's foreign trade imports and exports both achieved year-on-year growth. Among them, exports were 206.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.7%; imports were 161.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%. In the context of the current rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, Chengdu continues to accumulate energy and is stepping into the leading phalanx on this track. As the first cross-border e-commerce expo held in western my country, it will build a platform for display and communication in the cross-border e-commerce whole industry chain ecosystem, and help the high-quality development of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Sichuan and Chengdu.
