1. Fold and block group chat.
Each of us has a lot of group chats in WeChat, and we don’t want to see its notifications for some group chats. However, even if we set "Message Do Not Disturb" for this group chat, it will still be displayed in the WeChat chat list grandiosely, and it will be displayed at the top whenever there is a new message, which is really annoying.
The new version of WeChat completely solves this trouble for us. We only need to turn on "Collapse this group chat" for this group chat to hide this group chat from the chat list. The method is very simple. Open this group chat (as shown in the picture above), click the three dots in the upper right corner of it, and enter the setting interface of this group chat (as shown in the picture below).
Turn on the switch on the right side of "Collapse this group chat", turn it to green, and you are done. Then, when we return to the WeChat chat list, we won’t see this group chat anymore. At this time, we can see a "folded group chat" (as shown below).
When we open the "folded group chat", we can see the group chat we just hidden. In this way, even if there is new news in this group chat, we can't see it anymore.
2. Care mode.
The new version of WeChat also adds a "care mode",As long as we turn on this feature, WeChat fonts will become very large. This feature is still very useful for those with poor eyesight or older people. The opening method is also very simple, click "Me" in the navigation at the bottom of WeChat, and then click "Settings".
Then click "care mode" to enter the "care mode" opening interface (as shown below).
Click the "Open" button, and then WeChat will restart. After the startup is complete, the font of WeChat will become very large (as shown below).
In this way, when the elderly chat through WeChat, they are no longer afraid of being unable to read the words clearly. WeChat is really sweet this time.
3. Moments videos can be set as ringtones.
Videos in WeChat Moments can be set as ringtones. However, when I tested it, I found a problem. Only the video synchronized to the WeChat Moments in the video account can be set as a ringtone; the video published directly in the Moments cannot be set as a ringtone. The
method is also very simple, open the video synchronized by this video number (as shown below).
Click the "Share" button below, and the sharing interface (as shown below) will be pointed out.
There will be a "set as ringtone" button (as shown above), click it, and then in the pop-up window, click "set as ringtone" to set this video as WeChat It's ringing.
4. Optimized the forwarding interface.
We sometimes forward some good chat records to other friends. The new version of WeChat has optimized this forwarding interface,Added the "Recently Forwarded" module. If we press and hold on a chat record for 2 seconds, the "Forward" button will pop up (as shown below).
Click the "Forward" button, and you will enter the forwarding interface (as shown below). If you are careful enough, you will find that there is an extra row of "recently forwarded" modules here, which is a new feature of WeChat 8.0.15.
With this "recently reposted", you can easily find friends or group chats that we repost frequently. You don't need to look for it slowly in the list below.
5. External links can be published.
In the previous WeChat chat, it was forbidden to publish links to other websites, especially links to Tencent's competitors. The new version of WeChat no longer restricts this. We can publish external links during chat. After a friend receives it, click this link to open it directly. Although it cannot be opened directly through the other party's app, it can only be opened through WeChat or QQ browser , but this is already a big step, and we must give WeChat a thumbs up here.
