Please tell us about the work of you and your team
I am Changqing Wu, an architect from the Cloud Platform Department of Zhongtong. My main job at present is to put ZTO’s business on the container and solve some problems on the container. At present, Zhongtong is mainly responsible for uploading applications to the cloud and uploading existing containers to our tests.
This year's goal is to put all the applications that have been running stably on the test on our production before Double Eleven. In the future, we will be more inclined to move towards cloud native and service governance.

How did Zhongtong start to cooperate with Qingyun or KubeSphere, and what was the opportunity?
Before launching the container, we conducted research. In addition to KubeSphere, we also investigated the mainstream Rancher and some other container management platforms at the time. Finally, we found that KubeSphere is more suitable for ZTO’s business. At the same time, the IaaS platform service provided by Qingyun can manage our ZTO’s physical machines and some virtual machines to realize our own private cloud. Under this opportunity, we and Qingyun launched a cooperation.

What features of KubeSphere are currently using? What are the plans for future cooperation?
I currently use more KubeSphere functions,We are mainly based on KubeSphere 2.0 version for the transformation, users are more concerned about K8s resource management, multi-tenant cluster management, as well as log and monitoring alarm services, we are all in use here.
Because Zhongtong has KubeEdge and ServiceMesh needs, in the future we hope to start more cooperation through Qingyun, KubeEdge and Istio.

If you were to evaluate Qingyun in two simple sentences, what would it be? Do you have any blessings to Qingyun?
My impression of Qingyun is that Qingyun is involved in a wide range of businesses, and their technical architecture continues and is more in-depth. Hope Qingyun develops better and better.
