When I was a child, I was playful and active and loved to take risks, so I was often scolded by my parents, especially when I was playing in the water in the hot world, and I suffered a lot of flesh and blood. The reason is that parents are worried that our naughty children are drowning.
At that time, people were more superstitious. The older they were, the deeper their superstitious thoughts were. They always scared us and other naughty children: there were " water monkey ", " water ghost ", " water snake ", "water dragon", " Yasha "; there were old turtles several times larger than the round table, and big toads with strength than cows.
For these evil sayings of strange powers and gods, they can only believe that there is something, and if they don’t believe, they don’t. Young people don’t care about this and still do their own things. Although they can see the tragedy of naughty children drowning every year, they still cannot stop our "unrestrained heart".
talks for a long time and transfers to the main text. Now I borrow the strange stories written in "He Juezhi" in the 29th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty for the sake of entertainment for all readers.
It says that in the midsummer of the 22nd year of the Guangxu period, there were signs of floods in Xiangfu Thirteen Forts, Henan Province, and villagers fled to Daliang. There was a scholar named Song Tai who took his wife and son to Xingguo Temple and lived through rice water in the temple.
During this period, Song Tai followed the monks from Xiangguo Temple to recite scriptures and pray for blessings every day. A few days later, the flood showed signs of slowing down. Therefore, all the monks thought that this was the sincerest move to heaven, and the flood subsided. They couldn't help but run around and tell each other.
On the afternoon of the day, Song Tai accompanied the monks to Yuwangtai to enjoy the cool air. As we were having fun, the earth suddenly shook, and immediately, the waves surging and surging.
The people in the late Qing Dynasty
In just one moment, the house collapsed, the trees broke, and the crying sounds were endless. Song Tai and the monks were trapped in the Yuwangtai, watching the flood was about to swallow everyone.
Song Tai was panicking, suddenly saw a door panel drifting with the flow. In desperation, he didn't care about the life and death of others and rushed towards the door panel. Many monks were instantly swept away by the flood, and in seven or eight out of them were buried in the sewage.
Song Tai drifts with the door panel. If you know that it will be a bad thing if you continue like this. So, when the door panel is close to a big tree. He lifted hard, hugged the tree trunk, climbed up, and finally escaped.
But I didn't expect that I saw the scene of my wife struggling in the water holding the child. However, he could not rescue him. He watched his wife and children fall into the water and bury him in the fish's belly. Song Tai broke his liver and almost fainted.

I saw: Countless giant turtles as big as pot lids, undulating with the sewage, looking at the people on the trees, as if mocking.
Behind the giant turtle, it is a giant. It says that the cow is not like a cow, it is said that the snake is not like a snake, cow head . The snake body is full of scales, and there is a pair of big horns on its head, with a big mouth open, and mooing constantly, deafening and heart-breaking lungs. After this huge thing passed, dozens of things that looked like humans, monkeys, and monkeys appeared. The whole body was dark green, webbed limbs, pointed mouths, monkey cheeks, and extremely large eyes. He can walk on the water, jump and jump, screaming strangely, and looks very excited.
After these monkey-shaped objects pass, suddenly the sewage churned, like a boiling water boiling pot. In an instant, a giant long worm appeared from the water, with horns on its head and scales all over its body; on both sides of its nostrils, there were two long white beards, three or four feet tall. This thing churns and stirs in the water, like playing in the water. Soon, he swam south.
Song Tai and the people who survived by chance were trapped in the tree for five days. The water and rice had not entered the water within these five days, and everyone was dying. Just when everyone thought there was no hope of survival, the ship sent by the Kaifeng government office rescued him, gave him food and drink, and provided him with life.
After the water recedes, Song Tai struggled to find the bones of his wife and children, but unfortunately he could not find them. When I arrived at Xiangguo Temple again, I realized that most of the monks had died.
Song Tai later worked in the county government office, responsible for compiling county annals and flood minutes, and this experience was recorded in the book. There are records of this flood in several late Qing documents that have remained to this day. It is unknown whether Song Tai’s view is true.
