Google is likely to announce its Pixel Watch in the upcoming Pixel 7 series event on October 6. And, we already have some clues about applications that will run on Wear OS, the Android operating system that Google designed for smartwatch and other wearable devices. Apps such as Google Photos, Google Home and personal security apps will probably be launched with the Pixel Watch next week.
Official images of the Wear OS version of Google Photos, Google Home and Personal Security apps crawled from the Play Store list show that these applications may appear in Wear OS. The system is also simply called Wear, and its predecessor was Android Wear.
At first glance, the Pixel Watch's Google Photos watch interface seems to be very similar to the lock screen of Android 12. The photos have been rounded and are consistent with the design of the watch. Additionally, there is some space on the top of the watch surface that can accommodate the display configuration of date/day and time.
In addition, Google allows users to cycle through selected images throughout the day. Wear OS's Google Home app shows a card list design where smart home devices are listed in rectangular tags. These tags include an icon, background color, device name and room name. In one of the screenshots provided, you can also see a reminder about "who sees".
Finally, a "Call" screenshot also shows that an option allows you to switch to a personal security application to help call predefined emergency contacts or services.
