I said: "We combined the original patent with Zhang Yuanshen . Since we are separated, we don't want to mix it with him anymore. If we want to do it again, we have to open up new technical ideas." Gao Mingying expressed his praise for my statement. He said, "You think about the technical ideas. If you have any work that needs processing, I will give it to me. If you need it, I will find someone who is willing to invest in us." I said, "Okay. But I have to think about it slowly. This matter cannot be done."

Since then, I have given my spare time to how to solve the emergency braking problem in the event of a car brake failure.

The patent we originally had with Zhang Yuanshen was called "Automotive Emergency Braking Device". It is a medium-sized vehicle for air brakes. Its technical approach is to use the electric power of the car battery as power to drive an electromagnetic pump ; the electromagnetic pump drives the car's brake air pump. When the car brake system leaks, causing the brake to fail, the driver presses the emergency braking button. This set of technical ideas solves the emergency braking of "Jiefang", " Dongfeng " and similar chassis cars at that time.

But I took a different approach and reconsidered the technical ways to solve the emergency braking problems of small vehicles such as "jeep", "sedan" and "van", and " tool car ".

Gao Mingying convinced Wang Jiarui to invest in us. Wang Jiarui is the boss of Yangquan Noodle Factory. He was originally optimistic about the project and cooperated with Zhang Yuanshen. Later, the two turned against each other and went to court, but Yuanshen lost the case.

There are several cars in Wang Jiarui's factory, including scrapped cars. That brake system is provided for us for research purposes. I made an article on the brakes and successfully developed a technical concept of adding emergency brake devices to the hydraulic oil brake system of small cars. However, this was a long process, until June 1999, when the technical ideas were clear and the principles were fully revealed on paper, I went to the China Patent Office in Beijing to apply for a national patent.

At that time, the brake system of a small vehicle was hydraulically applied to the brake oil pump of the brake, pushing the brake pads, rubbing the brake hub , achieving the purpose of brake deceleration and parking. My technical idea is to add a brake oil pump to the fixed fulcrum of the brake pads in the brake. The two brake oil pumps are fulcrum points for each other. When a conventional brake system fails, causing the brake failure of the driving brake, another set of brake oil pumps in the hydraulic oil circuit work to fundamentally eliminate the phenomenon of car brake failure.

Of course, various small cars later gradually improved the brakes, eliminated the original brake hubs and brake pads, and replaced them with chuck-type brakes. This greatly improves and improves the brake performance of the car, which is a later story. But at that time, cars needed to have emergency braking devices. Because of the traffic accidents caused by brake failure every year, the car is destroyed and the death of people is shocking.

I learned from the National Patent Office that national patents are divided into three types. The first type is called invention patents. The letters start with: 1. The national legal protection period is 20 years. The second type is called utility model patent , with the letter starting with: 2, and the national legal protection period is 10 years. The third type is called appearance design patent , with the letter beginning: 3, and the national legal protection period is 5 years. The nature of the patent is different, and the fees paid are also different.

I applied for "utilitary model patent", and the patent technology name is: "Automotive emergency braking device".

The patent I applied for, in addition to the patent designer, the patent co-owner also added the names of Gao Mingying and Wang Jiarui. This made both of them particularly happy.

The National Patent Office must undergo strict review and demonstration to confirm that it has advanced, practical, unique and promotional value before it can grant national patent rights.

Half a year later, my patent certificate was approved to be issued. Patent number is: (992169992). The 99 in this set of numbers refers to the application in 1999; 2 refers to the utility model patent. The following numbers refer to the patent serial number that was approved in that year.

This technical patent I obtained was selected and included in the book published by China Esperanto Publishing House: "The Classic of the World Contemporary Patent Inventors" (Chinese Volume). After my car emergency brake device patent was approved. However, adding this device, including repeated experimental processes, requires a lot of investment. However, the ex-factory price of the car is determined by the national planned price. Let's talk about it when the company has autonomy in the future." In this way, this project is at the stage of patent promotion and application being blocked.

After weighing the pros and cons, I discussed with Gao Mingying and Wang Jiarui and reached an agreement and stopped investing funds. I did not further process and improve the prototype, nor did I go to automobile manufacturers across the country to conduct patent technology promotion business.

For this experience, as well as the time, money and energy I spent, I comfort myself is: I spend my spare time on doing something that is meaningful and willing to do, which is much better than playing mahjong or playing poker.
