Legend has it that in ancient times, there was a scholar named Zhu Yaozong who came to Beijing to take the high school entrance examination and won the top prize. The emperor's palace tried and saw that he was not only talented but also handsome, so he recruited him as his consort.

Following the usual practice, Zhu Yaozong returned to his hometown in a splendid appearance. Before leaving, Zhu Yaozong told the emperor how his mother worked hard to raise him and asked the emperor to build a chastity memorial for his mother who had been widowed for many years and never married.

The emperor was very happy when he heard this, and he loved this son-in-law riding a dragon even more, so he agreed to play it.

Zhu Yaozong happily traveled day and night to return home to visit his mother. After telling her mother about the establishment of the chastity arch, Zhu's mother, who was originally happy, was stunned and hesitated to speak, as if she had something to hide.
