Live Broadcast, January 2 News Recently, Bayern coach Nagelsmann accepted an official interview with UEFA .
Nagelsmann said: "My brother, who is 11 years older than me, was a Bayern fan and of course he was the first one to talk to me about Bayern at that time - and from that day on I became a Bayern fan too.
"Normally, if a brother or sister is a fan of a certain club, then you become a fan of that club too. I always had the goal of playing for Bayern, but unfortunately I didn't succeed.
"Bayern is the biggest club in Germany. Every opportunity in life doesn't wait for you forever. You don't get unlimited opportunities to take this kind of job. It's a big step for me and my heart reacted first.
"My mind is trying to evaluate the opportunity objectively, but it's very, very rare that you get the chance to coach the biggest club in your country and I'm very happy about it. As a coach, my job is to perform at my level, and as a true fan, I try to provide a great game for the fans.
"As a player, you will come into contact with different coaches, and each coach will instill his own coaching philosophy, and you will be affected by these. But in general, it is important to create your own football philosophy, and you have to work hard to create your own ideas and rules.
"At the end of my career, I had a lot of injuries, so I had a lot of time to think about how I would do certain things as a coach. When I became a coach I worked on my own football philosophy week after week.
"Since my first year as U19 head coach, the basic formation of the team has been formed in my mind. My tactical philosophy is mainly to win the ball high up the pitch and control the game by changing the tempo when in possession.
"I have certain principles, so in general I will not make any compromises. These principles always apply regardless of the situation, who the opponent is, or which players are playing on the field.
"Of course when you deal with people you have to be flexible in some areas, that's completely normal. As a coach you have to know how to put yourself in someone else's shoes. Some things should always apply, but there are also some things in life that allow for a bit of 'laissez-faire'.
"The players have to understand your football philosophy from the start, but you also have to understand the players yourself, and I firmly believe that clubs can only hire coaches if the players and the coach have the same philosophy.
"There is no point in signing a coach who has to completely change his football philosophy. He will never be happy and will not be able to develop his own style. Bayern knows where I stand and signed me because of my football philosophy - so I can continue my coaching career."
