●Geographical map of the Bermuda Triangle. The Bermuda Triangle is also known as the "Devil's Triangle". The area extends from Bermuda in the north to Miami in the south of Florida, then through the Bahamas, through Puerto Rico, to San Juan near 40° west longitude, and then back to Bermuda, covering an area of approximately 1.16 million square kilometers. The most important thing is that supernatural phenomena and violations of the laws of physics often occur here.
Planes disappear without a trace
Not only ships will encounter dangers in this sea area, but there are also many cases of disappearances when planes pass through here.
On December 5, 1945, U.S. Air Force Captain Taylor, captain of the 19th Flight Group, led his 14-person flight group to fly 5 Vengeance torpedo bombers to perform a special mission. Their planned route was to fly east over the Bahamas, then turn north, then turn back, fly a triangular flight, and finally return to the base. The
flight team successfully flew over the Bahamas. Suddenly, Captain Taylor found that his plane's compass was malfunctioning, and there was a mass of fog below, making it impossible to judge the flight altitude. So, he quickly ordered pilot Bowers to report to the base headquarters. Unexpectedly, the base command had just received Bowles' report, and before it could reply to Captain Taylor, the contact signal was interrupted. The command headquarters was very anxious and could only wait patiently for news about Taylor.
●The plane flew through the terrifying "Devil's Triangle"
At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Captain Taylor sent a report again, telling the command center that his aircraft's azimuth instrument had malfunctioned and the pointer could not move. The command asked Taylor's location, but Taylor himself couldn't figure it out. The command realized the seriousness of the problem. Later, Taylor sent a report saying that there was enough fuel on the plane and it could fly for another 4 hours. Ten minutes later, Taylor reported his location to the command post. After that, the base command never heard from Taylor again.
At 7 p.m., Captain Taylor's 14 companions disappeared together with the remaining aircraft. The
base command immediately launched a search, but found nothing. What is even more surprising is that the search team not only failed to find Taylor and the others, but also lost a maritime search plane. This maritime search plane did not even send a distress signal before the accident.
Who can solve the secret
These mysteries that happened in the Bermuda Triangle have brought great trouble to people. People have put forward various speculations to explain the "Bermuda Devil Triangle phenomenon". The more representative views can be summarized into the following two categories: The first category believes that these disappearances are not caused by manpower, or even natural disasters, but are caused by supernatural reasons, most likely aliens. The second category believes that there is nothing supernatural, but ordinary shipwrecks caused by geomagnetic anomalies, ocean floor cavities and other natural causes. These natural causes also include the magnetic field theory, black hole theory, infrasound theory, water bridge theory and clear sky turbulence theory, etc.
First, the magnetic field theory.
From the various supernatural events that have occurred in the Bermuda Triangle in the past, we can observe the fact that the compasses of many ships have failed. We know that the compass is controlled by the magnetic field. When the local magnetic field is abnormal, the compass will malfunction. People also noticed the fact that at the beginning and middle of the lunar month, the number of ships wrecked in the waters of the Bermuda Triangle increased significantly. The first and middle months of the lunar calendar are when the moon's tidal effect on the earth is strongest.
The geomagnetic south pole and the geomagnetic north pole are always changing. Geomagnetic anomalies cause compass errors, causing ships and aircraft to deviate from their course, causing disasters. But why does the magnetic field in the Bermuda Triangle always have abnormalities, while everything else is fine? Some people speculate that there is a huge magnetic field in the Bermuda Triangle that people don't know about.
In order to verify this view, someone has done relevant experiments. In 1943, Dr. Sasha invited the U.S. Navy to set up two magnet generators in the Bermuda Triangle to conduct an experiment on magnetic anomalies. Dr. Sasha turned on the switch and the two magnet generators started working. After a few minutes, something strange happened.Dr. Sasa and the U.S. Navy were immediately enveloped in green smoke, and no one could be seen on the other side. Moreover, there seemed to be something in the fog that was irritating the people present. When the experiment ended, some people were still unable to recover from the stimulation. What is even more shocking is that Dr. Xisa became mentally ill and subsequently committed suicide inexplicably. Before he died, Dr. Sasa left a message: Everything is related to Einstein 's theory of relativity.
Second, black hole theory.
A black hole is so massive that it can swallow all matter, and not even light can escape. However, people cannot see black holes, and it is impossible to see them. When people see black holes, they will perish. The strong suction force can easily crush people into powder. Some scholars have speculated that there may be something similar to a black hole in the Bermuda Triangle, sucking in all the planes and ships passing by.
This theory can explain those disappearances that have no results, but it is not applicable to those incidents where a large number of people died on ships.
Third, infrasound.
Soviet scholar Shuleikin proposed a "sea infrasonic vibration theory." This theory holds that there are a large number of infrasound waves in the Bermuda Sea. infrasound is an inaudible sound wave. We know that the frequency of sound waves that the human ear can hear is from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Sound waves below 20 Hz are infrasound—inaudible to humans, but extremely harmful. This is because the human body's internal organs have their own natural vibration frequency. This frequency is 0.01 to 20 Hz, which is very close to the infrasound frequency. If people are interfered by external infrasound frequencies, the human body's internal organs will form resonance . The results of the resonance can range from tinnitus , headache, and nausea to severe cases such as blurred vision, numbness in the limbs, and a sense of pressure in the chest. If the abdominal cavity, chest cavity and cranial glands resonate, the consequences will be the most serious and life-threatening.
There is a large amount of seismic activity in the Bermuda Sea, and coupled with the vortex movement of the sea water, a large number of infrasound waves are generated every day. The penetrating ability of infrasound waves is very strong and can penetrate walls
several meters thick. When ships and planes encounter these infrasound waves, the crew and pilots will fall into coma within a minute.
Fourth, Shuiqiao said.
There is an undercurrent on the seabed in the Bermuda Triangle, which is different from the tidal current on the sea surface. It was discovered that the wreckage of the missing ship in Bermuda ran near the coast of St. David's Island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. This is the effect of the undercurrent. When the conflict between the upper and lower currents becomes serious, shipwrecks occur, and some ships will be transported to other places by the undercurrent. Therefore, people cannot find the wrecked ship at the crash site.
Fifth, the theory of clear air turbulence.
"Clear sky turbulence theory" talks about a very special kind of wind. When this type of wind reaches a certain intensity, it will turn suddenly and is usually infrasound. If a flying airplane or ship encounters it, it will be doomed.
