I believe many people have heard the legends about extraterrestrial civilizations visiting the earth, or about prehistoric civilizations creating brilliant achievements and then tending to be destroyed. However, all the news about the legends of extraterrestrial civilizations (such as the ruins of Venusian cities and the human-faced stones on Mars) and the legends of prehistoric civilizations have all been proven to be false without exception. So much so that by the 2020s, few people really believed in the claims of extraterrestrial civilizations or prehistoric civilizations.
However, I personally feel that if we look at it according to cosmological theory, prehistoric civilization may really exist, but it is impossible to find any traces of this prehistoric civilization on the earth. Of course, it cannot be found on other planets.
1. Life and Death of the Universe
Cosmology is a time-sensitive science. I remember that the opening chapter of my cosmology textbook states that limited to the current technological level of mankind, this leads to the fact that on this basis, cosmology must be full of fallacies. This is inevitable, and error correction is also an essential attribute of scientific development. Therefore, humans cannot choose to stop studying the universe because current cosmological research is full of fallacies.
According to modern cosmological concepts, the universe did not exist at the beginning, nor does it mean that it will exist forever. Regarding the origin of the universe, there is a theory that it was a singularity explosion. After the singularity explosion, the universe continued to expand, and after many billions of years of development, we saw stars all over the sky, our solar system, and the earth. And this situation will not exist forever. According to cosmologists, in some days in the future, the universe we live in will also fall into collapse and destruction. Of course, the years to come are calculated in terms of billions of years. Therefore, we will definitely not be able to see it on this day.
At the same time, in addition to the singularity explosion theory, there are also theories that believe that our universe was re-formed after the collapse of the previous universe. And our universe will also form a new universe after its destruction.
2. The previous civilization
In fact, if we assume that cosmologists believe that the theory of the universe constantly collapsing and then rebuilding is true, then the previous generation of civilization should have existed.
We must know that in our universe, even if the earth is the only planet with intelligent life, after all, there is still the earth and human civilization that stand out in the vast universe. In so many previous universes, there may not have been planets like the Earth and intelligent creatures like humans. If this inference is true, then the civilization created by these intelligent creatures that existed in the past universe is actually the civilization of the previous generation.
Assuming that previous generations of civilizations really existed, how did their technological level compare with humans? In fact, this is a question that can never be answered. But we cannot rule out the possibility that there may be civilizations that may not be higher than human civilization.
Let me give you a realistic example: As far as human civilization is concerned, assuming that there is no Eurasia on the earth, but only the three continents of Africa, America and Australia, then what will happen to human history? The answer is simple: that is, today, we are still in a Stone Age society.
You must know that in the 16th century, Africa was mainly in a primitive society, and the Australian aborigines were even more backward than Africa. The Americas are in a deformed state in the development of stone civilization - although there are state forms such as the Aztec Empire and the Inca Empire in the Americas, they are still very backward in principle. It is not difficult to imagine that if Eurasia had not led human civilization forward, perhaps by 3022, that is, a thousand years later, the Americas would still be in the state of the Inca Empire, and Australia and Africa would be repeating primitive societies as they were for thousands of years.
Therefore, there are countless possibilities for the previous civilization: it may have a technological level that is a hundred times more advanced than contemporary humans, but it may also be just a stone civilization. However, no matter how advanced the technological level is, there is no resistance to the collapse of the universe.
