Rongchang is now a district under Chongqing. It is located in the western part of Chongqing and borders with Sichuan provinces (municipalities directly under the central government). It borders the two districts of Dazu and Yongchuan in the east, the Longchang in Neijiang, Sichuan to the west, the Lu County in Luzhou, Sichuan to the south, and the Lu County in Neijiang, Sichuan to the north, and the NEijiang Dongxing and Ziyang Anyue County in Neijiang.

Rongchang has a long history and was called Changzhou in ancient times. Changyuan County was established in the first year of Qianyuan in the Tang Dynasty and became the seat of Changzhou Prefecture. In the sixth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, it was named Rongchang; in June 2015, the county was abolished and established a district, becoming a district directly under the jurisdiction of Chongqing.

Rongchang in history was once an important gathering place for "Huguang Fill in Sichuan ". It is reported that immigrants from more than a dozen provinces including Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangxi gathered here at that time. To this day, Rongchang still has 30 ethnic minorities; therefore, Rongchang is also known as " Hakka culture living fossil ".

is in such a "Hakka people's h" - a remote village in Rongchang, Chongqing, but a History of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a famous cell biology and immunologist in my country came out.

Shu Hongbing was born in a remote rural area in Rongchang, Chongqing in January 1967. He was from a poor family since childhood. According to recollections, he could not afford a pair of decent new shoes until he went to middle school. He often went to school barefoot, so the biggest wish of the young Shu Hongbing was to be able to have enough food in his life!

Despite this, Shu Hongbing studied hard since childhood and was extremely talented. In 1983, Shu Hongbing was admitted to the undergraduate degree in zoology, , , the department of biology, Lanzhou University as he wished; after graduating from , Lanzhou University, , he was admitted to the postgraduate degree in the Institute of Basic Medicine, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and obtained a master's degree in the institute in 1990.

In 1992, Shu Hongbing went to the ocean and came to Emory University in the United States to study for a doctorate in cell and developmental biology . He received a doctorate degree from the school in 1995. After 2000, Shu Hongbing returned to China as a professor at Peking University and Wuhan University respectively. In 2011, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is currently the dean of of the Wuhan Institute of Biotechnology.

Academician Shu Hongbing is a famous cell biologist and immunologist in my country. He has been engaged in the research on cell signal transduction related to immunization for a long time, especially in the fields of antiviral natural immune responses, and has achieved a number of major scientific research results with international influence.

For example, the research team led by Academician Shu Hongbing discovered that in the process of viral infection inducing cells to express type I interferon, multiple signaling proteins that play a key role; this major discovery has made important contributions to scientific researchers in this field to deeply understand the molecular mechanisms of cell antiviral responses.

In addition, Academician Shu's team also discovered multiple proteins and mechanisms that negatively regulate overexpression of type I interferons, and believed that the significance of this precision regulatory mechanism is that it can prevent the body from producing excessive immune responses.

Another example, Academician Shu’s team discovered new members of the tumor necrosis factor family, and also elaborated on early molecular events of signal transduction of multiple members of the tumor necrosis factor family. This discovery by Academician Shu’s team has made an important contribution to further understanding of the molecular mechanisms of related immune diseases.

In short, the research team led by Academician Shu Hongbing has made important contributions to understanding the antiviral response of cells and the molecular mechanisms of related immune diseases.

This academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shu Hongbing, came out of a remote rural area in Rongchang, Chongqing, and is a famous cell biology and immunologist in my country.
