01 What is aerosol
Aerosol is a colloidal dispersion system formed by dispersing solid or liquid particles and suspending in a gas medium. When microorganisms , such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc., adhere to aerosol particles, it is called bioaerosol.
During the transmission of respiratory infectious diseases, the infected person's behaviors such as breathing, speaking, singing, coughing, and sneezing are the main sources of bioaerosols.
02 Aerosol transmission risk
The transmission of the new coronavirus aerosol depends on various factors such as population density, environmental ventilation, personal protection, detoxification activities and contact time. The higher the environmental density, lower the ventilation, do not wear a mask, and the longer the contact time with the case, the more active the case detoxification, and the higher the risk of infected people.
