She was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021.
Yang Weicai has long been committed to using the Arabidopsis model system to study the molecular mechanism of plant reproductive development, and has achieved a series of outstanding results. Li Jinsong

Guo Zijian
Guo Zijian, born in Hejian City, Hebei Province in October 1961, is a chemical biologist, Professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017.
Guo Zijian is mainly engaged in chemical biology research on metals and their complexes. He has presided over a number of national natural science foundation key projects, 973 program major scientific frontier fields project (chief scientist), the National Natural Science Foundation of China innovation group (academic leader), and received continuous funding from the cultivation, integration and selection projects of the first major research program in the field of chemical biology of the National Foundation of China, as well as a number of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
