Water - a unique substance
There is a large amount of water on the earth, and water has various characteristics necessary to maintain life. It has more than any other substance. Water has many favorable characteristics, one of which is that it appears in the form of gas (water vapor), liquid (water), and solid (ice) - all three are within the temperature range of the earth. In addition, the raw materials needed by humans, animals and plants must be transported by fluids, such as blood and sap. The most ideal thing to do this is water, because more substances dissolve in water than any other liquid. Without water, the nutritional effect cannot be maintained at all, because organisms rely entirely on water to dissolve food.
The way water freezes is also unique. As the water in lakes and oceans cools, it becomes heavier and heavier. This brings lighter, warmer water to the surface. However, when the water is close to freezing point, the process just happens to be reversed! The cooler water now becomes lighter and rises. When the water forms ice, it floats on it. Ice becomes an insulator, preventing the water deep below from freezing, thereby protecting the organisms in the water. If water does not have this characteristic, more and more ice will sink to the depths of the water every winter, and the following summer sun will not penetrate to the bottom and melt. Soon, most of the water in rivers, lakes and even the ocean formed into solid ice. The earth becomes a planet in ice and snow, and is not suitable for living creatures to survive.
Another unusual thing is that you can also obtain life-sustaining water away from rivers, lakes, and oceans. Every second, the sun's heat turns billions of liters of water into vapor. The water vapor is lighter than the air, so it floats upwards and forms clouds in the sky. The wind and air flow make the clouds move, and when appropriate, the moisture drips into rain. But raindrops will only condense to a certain size. Otherwise, what if the raindrops become big and big? That will lead to a disaster! On the contrary, the falling raindrops are usually moderate in size and very gentle, and even a grass or an extremely delicate flower is rarely broken. What a unique and meticulous design that water shows!
The light of the sun, the carbon dioxide in the air, and the water and chemicals in the soil, magically combine to produce food
"A rich land"
An author of the Bible describes God "stands a rich land with wisdom." This "rich land" - the soil on the earth - is amazing. Its structure reveals wisdom. Soil contains ingredients necessary for plant growth. In a light environment, plants combine nutrients and water in the soil with carbon dioxide to produce food.
The soil contains chemical elements that are needed to maintain human and animal life, but the plants must first convert these elements into a state that the body can absorb. There are countless tiny creatures involved in this process. There are thousands of microorganisms in just a spoonful of soil! There are countless designs of different types, each of which works to transform leaves, dead grass and other waste into available forms, or loosen the soil so that air and moisture can penetrate. Certain bacteria convert nitrogen into compounds needed for plant growth. In addition, worms and insects are constantly drilling, moving the subsoil particles to the ground to improve the quality of the topsoil.
It is true that some of the soil has been damaged due to abuse and other factors. But such destruction may not be permanent. The earth has a strange inner resilience. This function can be clearly seen in places ravaged by fire or volcanic eruptions. After a while, these areas were lush again. After the pollution is controlled, the land that has become a wilderness can also be restored. Most importantly, in order to eradicate the crux of the abuse of soil, the creator of the earth has decided to "corrupt those who corrupt the world" and preserve the earth as his permanent homeland prepared for mankind.
Earth has wonderful resilience, and plants grow again in the blink of an eye
is by no means a coincidence
As I was thinking about the above, please consider these things: the distance between the earth and the sun that supplies light and heat energy is just right. Is it a coincidence that it is blindly coincidental? The earth orbits the sun with precise speed, rotates around the axis every 24 hours, and the inclination angle is just right. Is it just a coincidence to trace the origin? The earth has a protective and fertile atmosphere. Is it a coincidence that various gases are so properly mixed? Is it a coincidence that there is water and soil needed to grow food on the earth? Is it a coincidence that there are so many delicious, colorful fruits, vegetables and other foods? The dazzling beauty exists on the sky, mountains, rivers, and lakes, and is exposed between flowers, plants and trees, so that all kinds of happy living things are all caused by coincidence?
Many people have concluded that they believe that all this cannot be caused by blind coincidence. On the contrary, they see the vivid marks of care, wisdom, and deliberate design everywhere. In this case, they felt that those who were blessed should “fear God and give glory to him” because he was “the one who created the fountains of heaven, earth, sea and water.”
There are so many welcome things for us to enjoy. Is it a coincidence that blindly happening?
