2022 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to French scientists Alan Aspe , American scientist John Crowze and Austrian scientist Anton Cailiner, among which Professor Anton Cailiner is the executive vice president of University of Science and Technology of China and the doctoral supervisor of Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Pan Jianwei .

Pan Jianwei studied his doctorate at , the University of Innsbruck, Austria in 1996. He studied under this world-class master of quantum experimental research. Under the guidance of his supervisor, Pan Jianwei obtained a doctorate degree from the University of Vienna in 1999, and stayed there for a while and returned to the University of Science and Technology of China to this day.

Academician Pan Jianwei has been engaged in research on quantum optics , test of basic problems in quantum information and quantum mechanics, and has made innovative contributions to research on quantum communication and is an internationally renowned scholar in this field. Pan Jianwei's research results on realizing quantum stealth transmission were selected as "Top Ten Science and Technology Progress of the Year" by the American magazine " Science and ", and together with the discovery of X-rays of Rongen and the establishment of relativity theory of the world, the major research results of the world-affected research were selected by Nature as "21 Classic Papers in Centennial Physics" by Nature. His research results have been selected as "China's Top Ten Science and Technology Progress News of the Year" by academicians of the two academies 6 times, "Major Progress of the Year" by the European Physics Society 5 times, and "Major Progress of the Year" by the American Physics Society 4 times.

As a student of the Nobel Prize winner in Physics, Academician Pan Jianwei is also one of the most important participants in his supervisor's research work. The awards committee mentioned four quantum communication experimental articles by tutor Anton Salinger . Pan Jianwei is the first author of two of them and the second author of the two articles. The awards committee also submitted three other articles, all of which were independently researched by Chinese scientists led by Pan Jianwei.
