Dark brown "umbrella surface" and "umbrella handle" covered with scales. This is a mushroom with a special appearance. Putuo District, Zhoushan City discovered a new global record species "Putuo Spore Bolivia" in the biodiversity survey and evaluation. The relevant paper was recently published in the authoritative journal of fungal taxonomy "Phytotaxa".
According to reports, the investigation team found several extremely small boletus fruiting entities on the slope of a simple road on Xuanshan Island, Putuo District in October last year. The research team conducted DNA amplification and sequencing of the specimens. Through the analysis of DNA sequence and comparison of morphological characteristics, it was confirmed as a new species and named "Putou Sprout Boletus".
This species usually grows on road slopes, mixed forest areas of genus and pine . Compared with other boletus sapids, their fruiting bodies and basophils are smaller. The surface of the cap is brown-black when it is tender and brown to dark brown when it matures; the stem is brown-yellow, with dense brown scales; the surface of the fruiting layer is yellow, and the flesh is white to yellow-white, and both turn blue after injury.
Zhejiang has promoted biodiversity surveys and assessments in key areas and county-level wildlife resources background surveys. It has discovered many new global species such as Baishan Zukao Toad, Lishui Lisie umbrella, Zhejiang Huahuahua and other species. Zhoushan Putuo District is one of the biodiversity survey and evaluation sites in Zhejiang. In the field survey of 2,980 species were recorded in the Communist Party of China in one and a half years, 41 new species were found in China, more than 100 new species were recorded above the province, and 71 national key protected species were found.
