On January 22, 2019, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University published online in Food & Function (IF=4.171) entitled "Ginsenoside Rf dysmenorrhea and inflammation alleviation through the BDNF-TrkB-CREB pathway in a rat model of endometriosis ” research paper.
First author: Xuying Qin (transliteration Qin Xuying), corresponding author: Jie Jiang (transliteration Jiang Jie). This article investigates that ginsenoside Rf alleviates dysmenorrhea and inflammation through the BDNF-TrkB-CREB pathway in the model of endometriosis rats.
Paper retraction
2021On May 10, 2021, the journal decided to retract the article. The images in the article and the raw data provided by the author are screened by image integrity experts. The WB strip of in Figure 6A bears traces of spliced (BDNF and p-CREB), indicating that the image may have been manipulated. Also, the raw data does not appear to be authentic, so the raw data provided by the authors cannot be used to validate the published data. The findings presented in this paper are not reliable given the importance that focuses on the validity of the data in the article and the original data provided by the authors.
