electron microscopy center is also equipped with related equipment for sample preparation, including transmission electron microscope supporting ultra-thin microtome, glass knife machine, and automatic tissue processor The machine and the field emission scanning electron microscope are equipped with a critical point dryer and an automatic ion sputtering coating device, etc., to meet the scientific research needs from sample preparation to imaging.

The research and experiment center is committed to providing support for the scientific research of the teachers and students of the whole school. So far, it has provided scientific research services for nearly 1,000 teachers and students in more than 350 research groups, and the average annual use time is about 16,000 hours. The construction of the Electron Microscopy Center this time has made up for the school’s shortcomings in ultrastructure research and will further boost the development of the scientific research undertakings of Anhui Medical University.
