Once upon a time, many street stall literature once hyped topics like "Venus City Ruins". The reason is that in the photos of Soviet probes sent back from Venus, there are suspected urban ruins. And there are tens of thousands of city ruins. So many people think: Perhaps it was because Venus did not pay attention to environmental protection after industrialization, which led to the serious greenhouse effect of and eventually led to the destruction of Venus civilization.

Of course, later the astronomy community proved that the ruins of Venus city are actually false, and Venus civilization naturally does not exist.
However, we might as well assume: If Mars , would humans discover it?
1. Suppose humans suddenly disappear
I remember many years ago, I watched a documentary called "If Humans Disappear from Earth". This documentary believes that if humans disappear for a million years, then there are basically no traces of humans and even human civilizations on the surface of the earth. Because such a long time is enough to erase most traces of human civilization. Unless there will be newborns or intelligent creatures from outside the earth, they can analyze the existence of organisms and even civilizations on the earth through excavation and based on things such as plastics that are not easy to degrade, and even human fossils.
Of course, many pessimists said: This ending is actually not ruled out that it will really happen. After all, the existing civilization of human beings is not enough to resist too high risks. Just because asteroids hit the Earth, humans are not sure that they can respond sufficiently.

So this possibility is not ruled out: millions of years after humans die, new intelligent creatures will really appear on the earth and then discover the situation of our civilization. From their perspective, we are the previous generation of civilizations.
2, Mars problem
Mars is regarded as one of the most similar planets in the solar system to Earth: both in size and rotation and orbital period are similar. Moreover, modern science has proved that in ancient times billions of years ago, Mars had oceans and even produced microorganism at one time. In fact, although humans in the 2020s had not yet landed on Mars, the human dispatched forces, robots, appeared in groups on the surface of Mars. Therefore, it is reasonable to regard Mars as a colonial area that has become a human civilization. However, even so, humans' past understanding of Mars is still very limited: for example, the geological structure of Mars.
We assume: Once upon a time, there was once a civilization on Mars, but due to natural factors, the Martian civilization disappeared. So, will humans today discover it?
The answer is no.
Because the ecological environment of Mars is much worse than that of the earth. Therefore, if Mars civilization dies, the traces of Mars civilization will either be degraded or be hidden under the fire of Mars. After countless millions of years of use, what human probes can currently see on the surface of Mars are only the ruins of ancient rivers, and as for other things, they cannot be seen.

However, assuming that humans have landed on Mars, and have really established strongholds on Mars, and have conducted archaeological research on Mars, then, if Mars really had civilization in ancient times, it is very likely that clues will be found during the archaeology process - after all, as long as unnatural products that cannot be degraded underground on Mars are discovered, it is enough to prove that there were smart creatures on Mars.
At this moment, human mood is heavy. After all, the instinct of a rabbit and the fox is human beings. Humans can take over Mars and archaeological Mars. So, one day in the future, will anyone take over the Earth and archaeological Earth?
Of course these are all assumptions. At least the current mainstream scientific community does not believe that Mars has ever existed in intelligent creatures, nor does it believe that Mars has ever existed in civilization. After all, the history of the solar system has not left Mars a time window for breeding smart creatures - the prematurely lost magnetic fields, oceans, and atmosphere, blocking the evolutionary path of Martian creatures.
