Beijing Planetarium experts introduced that among the many meteor showers of large and small in the year, the Orion meteor shower is not big or small in terms of traffic, and is considered a meteor shower with medium traffic. The Orion meteor shower has a very fast meteor, which can reach 66 kilometers per second, which is easier to distinguish.

The active period of Orion meteor shower is very long, starting from October 2 and continuing until early November every year. Meteors belonging to this meteor group may appear in more than a month.
