They belong to the protected species in Appendix I and Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). At present, the above cases have been further handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
Customs reminds that carrying or mailing endangered wild animals and plants and their products into the country must be approved by the relevant administrative departments of the state, holding a certificate of import permit issued by the endangered department, and actively reporting to the customs, and undergoing customs inspection and quarantine. It is prohibited to bring in the country if there is no certificate. Those who illegally import, export or smuggle endangered wild animals, plants and their products by other means shall be punished by the customs in accordance with the relevant provisions of the " Customs Law "; if the circumstances are serious and constitute a crime, criminal liability shall be pursued in accordance with the law.
