Scientists have done such experiments. Put the octopus in an airtight container with 18 holes in the container, each with corresponding markings, only one of which is the real outlet, leading to a large container containing sea water.
At the beginning, the octopus's movement seemed a little messy, but soon it seemed to have found the rules and it didn't take long to find the real exit.
Judging from the experimental process and results, scientists concluded that octopus can make plans during action and have certain memory and judgment abilities.
But the question is, can octopus make complex thinking? Is it self-aware?
