In order to encourage contributions in the advancement of coal science and technology Outstanding young people who have made outstanding contributions, in accordance with the "Measures for the Selection of the Coal Youth Science and Technology Award", the selection of the 2022 Coal Youth Science and Technology Award is now organized. In order to carry out the recommendation and selection of this organization, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.
1. Application requirements
Implement the party's line, principles, and policies, love the motherland and science and technology, have the scientific ethics and style of study of "dedication, innovation, truth-seeking, and collaboration", and have made one of the following outstanding contributions in business work One of the young coal scientific and technological personnel:
1. Proposed new ideas and insights academically, and was recognized as reaching the domestic or international advanced level after publication.
2. Have the courage to innovate in scientific and technological practice, make important contributions and achieve greater economic or social benefits.
3. Make outstanding achievements in disseminating science and technology knowledge and promoting new technologies, making outstanding achievements and achieving good social or economic benefits.
2. Recommended conditions
Recommended young people should meet the following conditions
- Adhere to the scientific spirit, abide by scientific ethics, and have good conduct;
- Generally not more than 40 years old (born after January 1, 1982), female scientific and technical personnel The application age can be appropriately relaxed to 45 years old (born on or after January 1, 1977);
- Those who have won the "Coal Youth Science and Technology Award" and " Sun Yueqi Youth Science and Technology Award" will no longer accept applications; China Association for Science and Technology "Youth Selection Project" applicants who have not completed the examination will not be accepted to apply.
3. Recommendation channels and quota allocation
1. Each branch of the society can recommend one person.
2. The Coal Society of each province, autonomous region, and municipality directly under the Central Government may recommend 2 persons.
3. Members of each unit of the society can recommend one person, and governing units and above can recommend two people.
4. Every 2 people who are the standing directors of the society or professional (working) committees, secretary-general of the provincial coal society and above who have senior technical titles or above can recommend one person with their signature (each expert can only recommend one person per year) ; According to the principle of avoidance of awards, staff of the Secretariat of China Coal Society are not qualified as recommenders.
5. Due to limited conditions, this award does not accept applications from medical professionals.
IV. Support measures and other matters
1. This award is an award registered and approved by the National Science and Technology Awards Office (certificate number: 0017). Relevant information can be viewed on the website of the National Science and Technology Awards Office.
2. Select and recommend qualified young scientific and technological talents to be included in the National Science and Technology Innovation Talent Promotion Plan, China Youth Science and Technology Award , Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award (Youth Award), China Young Female Scientists Award and Outstanding Engineer Award, etc. .
3. All branches of the society, coal societies of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, group members, and governing units should combine the existing science and technology plans and talent plans to provide support to the selected candidates in terms of undertaking scientific research tasks, providing guarantee conditions, and increasing incentives. Key support.
4. The society will organize the selected candidates to carry out cross-field academic exchanges, joint research, professional training, and docking with local industrial technology needs, and strengthen the publicity of the outstanding achievements and typical deeds of the selected candidates.
5. Application process and relevant requirements
1. Recommendation shall be made in the form of a combination of unit and personal recommendation.
(1) Recommendation by the unit must be submitted in person, and the unit shall make an evaluation and sign the opinion before being recommended by a unit with recommendation qualifications;
(2) Personal recommendation must be made by 2 people (one each from this unit and an external unit) Recommendations signed by qualified experts.
2. The same applicant can only be recommended through one channel. Duplicate applications will be disqualified upon discovery.
3. The application materials must be reviewed and stamped (signed) by the recommending unit or individual and then submitted to the Secretariat of the China Coal Society. Without a seal, the applicant will not be eligible for review.
4. The deadline for submission is August 15, 2022. Overdue applications will not be accepted. The China Coal Society will organize an expert group to carry out the review work, and the results will be announced through the China Coal Society online platform.
5. Formal application materials must include the following:
Paper materials:
(1) Coal Youth Science and Technology Award recommendation form in duplicate, including personal application form, unit or expert recommendation form (both experts need to have recommendation forms) ;
(2) One attachment of supporting documents required for the recommendation form (see the description of the recommendation form for details).
Note: Please bind the recommendation form and supporting attachment materials separately.
Electronic version of materials:
(1) Electronic version of paper materials (including attached supporting materials);
(2) Electronic version of personal bareheaded photo (white background) (not less than 500KB, JPG format) and electronic version of work photo (used (For publicity, no less than 2M, JPG format);
(3) "2022 Coal Youth Science and Technology Award Personnel Information Form" (Excel form, please download from the society's website);
(4) Brief deeds of the applicant, about 500 words.
Paper materials shall be bound in A4 format and submitted together with the electronic version. Application materials once received will not be returned.
