The earth is our homeland, and the vicissitudes of life are happening every day. The once ocean has become the current mountain. Xinjiang Tianshan has marine fossils, Antarctica has discovered tropical fossils, Taihang Mountains discovered conch fossils, and so on. All these evidences prove that the earth is always changing, so what will the earth look like in the future?

1. Introduction to the Earth
Earth is one of the eight planets in the solar system, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are ranked third in order from near to farthest from the sun. They are also the terrestrial planets with the largest diameter, mass and density in the solar system, 150 million kilometers away from the sun. The earth rotates from west to east while revolving around the sun. The oldest rock found so far is 4.6 billion years .

(3) The theory of plate tectonics, the rigid lithosphere is split into multiple huge blocks - plates. Plates are carried on the asthenosphere for large-scale horizontal movement.
3. World map after 50 million years
Calculate the world map after 50 million years according to the existing plate movement direction and speed. As shown in the figure below, we obviously find that the map pattern is different from now:
(1) North America drifts to latitude higher temperate , Gulf of Mexico shrinks significantly, United States terrain is distorted, The Rocky Mountains is no longer a north-south straight line, but bends.
(2) South America moved nearly 20 latitudes north, Argentina will be a tropical country, Brazil will be called subtropical country.
(3) Antarctica will no longer be a barren land of ice and snow , but the northern region has entered the temperate zone, and the climate is similar to the current UK and Iceland . The south is still icy and snowy.

(4) Africa continues to drift northward by nearly 30 degrees, Congo , Sudan , Kenya and other equatorial countries will be called subtropical countries. South Africa , Botswana will be called tropical countries. The Red Sea is completely closed, Mediterranean disappears, Persian Gulf disappears . African continent and European are connected as a whole, it will be more convenient for Africans to smuggle to Europe, and there is no need to go by boat.

(5) The Asian continent as a whole rotates clockwise by about 15°, the equator will pass through China's Hainan Island and Taiwan Island , Most of China will be in the subtropical region , the location of Tropic of Cancer is located in Beijing . Due to the subduction of the Indian Ocean plate, the area of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China has shrunk and moved to the northeast, and the area of the Ordos Basin has also shrunk. China's land area may be reduced, but at that time, our country may have recovered all the previously lost land.

(6) Outer Mongolia continues to move northwards, all the way to east Siberia . The Japanese archipelago completely sank , leaving only a few small volcanic islands.
