4. Horizontal: The cuff is at the same level as the heart, the upper arm is straightened and slightly abducted, and the palm is facing upward.
5. Measurement: Some electronic blood pressure meters can start measurement by simply pressing the button. After the sleeve is inflated, you will feel your arms being tightly held, and then the cuff will slowly loosen. The upward pressure (systolic pressure) and downward pressure (diastolic pressure) of the blood pressure will be measured between tightening and loosening.
6. Record: After measuring blood pressure, it is best to record it according to the time, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure .
