My High blood pressure Family
Teda Hospital, Tianjin University Li Qing
I am an internal medicine physician and a hypertensive patient. I have been taking antihypertensive drugs for 7 years and have been taking medication since I found out that I was high.
Someone said, your doctor still takes medicine? Then you don't know the doctor too much. Doctors are also flesh and blood, doctors can also have birth, old age, sickness and death, doctors can also live like others, doctors can also get sick. What's more, hypertension is a polygenic genetic disease.
I have the genetic gene for hypertension. Many people in my family suffer from hypertension, both of which are both paternal and maternal. One of my uncles and uncles both died of acute cerebrovascular disease at the age of 50.
htm.
first talk about my father’s line:
My grandfather was 61 years old cerebral infarction , and died of cerebral infarction at the age of 62. The first time I got a serious cerebral infarction, hemiplegia , I couldn’t take care of myself, aphasia , I couldn’t speak, so I was always anxious, often lost my temper, and sometimes I picked up my shoes and threw them to my grandma when I was anxious.
Only after the cerebral infarction did my family know that my grandfather had hypertension and diabetic . As for whether he knew it before, I don’t remember it, it seems that he had never used any medicine before. However, more than 40 years ago, there were no good medicines available.
My father has 2 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters, and my father is the eldest son. All six brothers and sisters developed hypertension after middle age.
My uncle was a soldier and later transferred to a certain institution and worked as an office director.
My hometown is famous for drinking. When the surrounding counties and cities talk about people in our place, the first evaluation is that they can drink. Being an office director in such a big environment will naturally have more opportunities to drink. In my impression, he didn't seem to drink much when he was in the army, and he didn't drink much. He gradually drank more and more since he arrived at the local area. Later, he seemed to be a little addicted to alcohol, and he had to drink it when he saw me, his junior.
My uncle is honest and generous, but now when talking about high blood pressure, he should still be a little stubborn. After my grandfather's cerebral infarction, the whole family had the concept of hypertension, but to be honest, I still don't understand the harm of hypertension.
My uncle has good physical fitness and often exercises before his death. He knew he had high blood pressure, but he didn't seem to take it seriously. He never thought that a high blood pressure could do anything to him, so he didn't control his drinking and the medication did not keep up, and his blood pressure was always high.
1994 When he was 48 years old, he suddenly suffered a large-scale cerebral infarction and was in a deep coma. He never woke up again. It was winter and the weather was particularly cold. And half a year ago, my father, who was 6 years older than him, had a cerebral infarction. If he took it as a warning and paid attention to controlling his blood pressure, the tragedy should not happen.
he walked cleanly and did not drag others down, but he was so young and so good, and he was gone just like that. He always felt very sorry.
My uncle and three aunts all developed hypertension after they were 50 years old, but they all insisted on taking medicine. Except for the second aunt who died of cancer last year, the eldest aunt, uncle and younger sister-in-law are in good health.
Let’s talk about my matriline:
The year my parents got married, my grandfather cerebral hemorrhage died, and was only 58 years old. However, even at this age, among his brothers, he is still quite long-lived. His brothers all like to drink, and they all have a lot of alcohol. They all died of cerebral hemorrhage. They never lived past the age of 60. They only lived to be 53 years old with his younger brother who often drinks.
my mother has 2 brothers and 1 younger brother.
I have already mentioned my second uncle's situation. If you are interested, you can read the previous article. My second uncle is a frugal person who has been frugal all his life, unable to bear to eat, wear, and drinking. He is also reluctant to take medicine after he finds high blood pressure. In 1991, when he was 54 years old, he suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage, which only took a few hours from the onset of the disease to his death.
My uncle's personality is completely different from that of my second uncle. My uncle is generous and generous in spending money. He loves to make friends and drinks. He also drinks vigorously and does whatever he wants and drinks very much. Once he and his cousin drank, and before the hot peanuts and vegetables were stir-fried, the two of them had already dried a bottle of white wine.
My uncle also has hypertension and also uses antihypertensive drugs, but with his personality, he still cares about it and doesn't care much, so the medication is not regular.
In the spring of 2000, he suffered a sudden cerebral hemorrhage and was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. He was 69 years old at the time, and my cousin and I were worried that he might not be able to survive. My cousin also said that no man in the entire family has lived past 60 years old, and his uncle has escaped the family's "curse" and is already very content.
What we didn’t expect was that my uncle actually survived. When I was discharged from the hospital, I was a little hemiplegic, but later I recovered completely. I spoke and walked the same as before, without any impact. The only difference is that he became obedient, stopped drinking, and started taking medicine regularly. He was like a primary school student in treating the disease, taking medicine as he asked me to take medicine as he wanted. Sometimes he even took the initiative to ask me when to go for a check-up.
2 years ago, he suffered severe biliary infection due to gallstone and was hospitalized for laparoscopic surgery. He also survived tenaciously. Now 91 years old, I have been in good health for 22 years after cerebral hemorrhage.
Let me talk about my parents:
My father doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink much, but he also has high blood pressure. Decades ago, people generally lacked the importance of controlling blood pressure to meet standards, and their control over blood pressure was not so strict. My father knew that he had high blood pressure and also took medicine, but the medication was not regular and his blood pressure was not controlled normally.
1994, during the World Cup, he went to Kyrgyz to visit and discuss aid matters, and he became hemiplegic as soon as he got off the plane.

11994 just a few years ago, the Soviet Union collapsed, and the economic transformation of Kyrgyzstan was relatively slow. At that time, the entire country did not even have the technology to produce soy sauce, let alone pharmaceutical factories, so there was a serious shortage of drugs. My father was hospitalized there. He took vitamins orally, and was infused with sugar and saline. There was no tape during the infusion, but he used monkey rubber band to fix the needle. The degree of shortage of medicines can be imagined.
Myrrh is not available, but the other party disagreed with leaving. When I returned a month later, my father was already half-dead. When I first met my father at the Beijing Airport, I couldn't believe my eyes and hugged my father and cried bitterly. This was the first time I had such an intimate contact with my father since I was an adult, but I didn’t expect it to be that occasion.
However, since then, my father realized the harm of hypertension and began to take medication actively. He is now in his 80s. Although one side of his limbs is not active, his overall body is still in good condition.
My mother also developed hypertension after middle age. The effect of using hologen antihypertensive drugs is average. She suffered from severe arrhythmia in her 60s, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, frequent ventricular premature beats, etc. Because blood pressure is not well controlled, antiarrhythmic drugs are not effective. Later, my classmate Guo Yifang performed phase 3 clinical observation of Ambovi (Irbesartan), and added Ambovi to my mother on the basis of horizon antihypertensive drugs. Unexpectedly, his blood pressure was controlled very well and his arrhythmia disappeared. After 20 years of regular medication, the heart and kidney function remained very good until last year, when he died of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 80.

My grandfather and my grandfather's generation did not understand hypertension, and they lacked understanding of the harm of hypertension, and there was no medicine to use, so it was not surprising that cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage occurred.
My second uncle, my uncle, knew that he had high blood pressure, but he did not realize the harm of high blood pressure. One was reluctant to take medicine, the other didn't care, didn't control, or did not use medicine, and they were all destroyed by hypertension.
My uncle was originally a "reverse textbook" for hypertension, but he didn't expect it to become a healthy and inspiring model in the end. What he and my father have in common is that after falling into hypertension, they completely changed their original unhealthy living habits, and they also knew how to use medicine regularly and control blood pressure to meet the standards. Although they were given medicine for a long time, they could still survive healthily.
I developed hypertension when I was 50 years old. I started taking antihypertensive drugs and lipid-lowering drugs from the day I found my blood pressure was high. I have been using it for almost 7 years now. At most, I used antihypertensive drugs with one tablet of holy and one tablet of sartan. Three years ago, I found out that has abnormal glucose tolerance , so I started using lifen-like hypoglycemic drugs. After using liflozin, my weight dropped by up to 10kg. You may be able to see the changes in weight through my video.
When I lost 5kg of body weight, I felt dizzy. As soon as my blood pressure was measured, I stopped the horizon; when I lost 10kg, my blood pressure was still so low, so I stopped the antihypertensive medicine. I did not use antihypertensive drugs for half a year, and my blood pressure did not exceed 120/80mmHg. Later, my weight rebounded by 5kg. My blood pressure rose, and I started taking sartan again.
Many doctors are not healthy, and even the average life expectancy of doctors cannot keep up with other groups. The main reasons are night shifts, high work pressure, and staying up late. There is a joke that doctors get up early and collect rags; doctors go to bed late and massage parlors; doctors don’t rest after get off work and open online stores. Although the jokes are shown, the doctor's life state can be seen.
I love exercise and my diet is relatively light. I don’t drink drinks or smoke, but if I drink alcohol, if I meet friends I can chat with, I may also drink more. My biggest health problem is staying up late, writing papers and doing popular science, and there is no one who doesn’t stay up late.
It is difficult for me to change my current life state, nor do I want to live like Purgatory , so I try to maintain a relatively healthy lifestyle, and at the same time, I use medicine regularly to control my blood pressure to meet the standards. Disease is inevitable, health is relative. The occurrence of
The occurrence of diseases has congenital factors and acquired reasons. We cannot change the innate factors, but acquired habits can be completely controlled. After hypertension occurs, try to maintain healthy living habits, take medication reasonably, control blood pressure to meet standards, avoid hypertension complications, and survive healthy even with illness.
From my family, I guess I can't escape the "curse" of cerebrovascular disease. I just hope it won't come too early and not cause trouble for others.
