The pain of the testicles... is the rush of liver qi in the testicles ears."
Chronic epididymisitis, which does not have this disease name in traditional Chinese medicine. The epididymis belongs to the "kidney" part of traditional Chinese medicine, so this disease is mostly classified into the category of carbuncles and pain. The disease is closely related to the liver, spleen, and kidneys, especially liver .
I combined my own clinical experience to treat this syndrome from the treatment of "liver" and proposed three types of typing methods:
1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis - relieve liver regulating qi, promote blood circulation and relieve pain
liver is responsible for venting and dispersing, liver qi is stagnant and qi 7, qi stagnation and blood stasis will cause epididymis swelling or tingling pain.
mainly manifests as : scrotum swelling and pain, or sometimes tingling, traction of the lower abdomen, worsening symptoms are related to emotional changes, accompanied by anxiety, chest tightness, swelling of the hips, belching, poor sleep, etc., dark tongue or ecchymosis, thin and white coating, stringy pulse or astringent.
2. Dampness and heat blocking - Clear heat and relieve dampness, eliminate blood stasis and disperse knots
likes to eat cream and so on, or like spicy and alcohol, which can cause the endogenous heat of dampness and heat, heat and liver meridians, follow the meridians and pour the epididymis, local dampness and heat accumulation, qi and blood circulation are not smooth, and stasis will be formed over time, and the epididymis blood is congested and heat gathers, which is the disease.
mainly manifests as : epididymis soreness, swelling, damp or itchy scrotum, or accompanied by short and red urine, bitter mouth, dry mouth, poor nausea, and other symptoms, red tongue, yellow and greasy tongue coating, slippery and rapid pulse or astringent pulse.
3. Liver and kidney deficiency - nourish the liver and kidney, nourish qi and blood
Hiddle opening to the two yin in the front and back. "Jingyue Quanshu" says: "The two Yins are used only because of Qi and blood." The pathogenesis of chronic epididymisitis is complicated and difficult to cure. If the disease is long, it will damage the positive energy. If the positive energy is deficient, the qi and blood are stagnant, and the veins are blocked, it will accumulate in the epididymis and form a clump; or if the disease is long, it will affect the liver and kidneys, and the liver and kidneys are deficient, it can also cause the disease to be prolonged and difficult to cure.
mainly manifests as : long-term illness, inability to eliminate epididymis, sometimes dull pain, cold pain in the scrotum, severe soreness and discomfort, or numbness of the scrotum skin, accompanied by symptoms such as soreness and weakness in the waist, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, etc., pale red tongue, less coating, and deep pulse.
Zhou Mou, 41 years old. There was no obvious cause of epididymis pain and swelling for more than a month, and it was not taken seriously. The symptoms worsened in the past week. Western medicine diagnosed it as chronic epididymisitis. The effect of taking the medicine was not obvious. I turned to traditional Chinese medicine for treatment.
symptom: sometimes there is swelling and pain in the epididymis, which can be seen to enlarge and harden. Rest can slow down and stand up aggravate, accompanied by dry mouth and bitter mouth, and yellow urine. The tongue is pale and red, the coating is thin and white, and the pulse is stringy.
Traditional Chinese medicine diagnoses it as "sci-pain", which is caused by liver and gallbladder dampness and heat, phlegm and dampness, and blood stasis. The treatment is to clear heat and relieve dampness, remove blood stasis and disperse knots. The prescription is planned to choose Xiao Chaihu Decoction combined with Qi-replenishing and Tongluo prescription.
prescription: Bupleurum , Pinellia ternata, Scutellaria baicalensis, Codonopsis pilosula, jujube, licorice , ginger, Astragalus , Angelica sinensis , Chuanxiong , Red Peony , Peach kernel , Safflower , Dilong
take four doses of the medicine, the epididymis swelling and the pain was relieved compared with the previous one, the medicine has been appropriate, and the epididymis pain has been taken ten doses of , the epididymis pain has been eliminated, and the rest of the symptoms have alleviated. The prescription was added and subtracted for half a month, and the epididymis discomfort did not recur.
liver is responsible for dispersing and dissipation, and its meridians are connected to the yin organs. The evil qi stagnates in the liver meridian, damp heat is poured down, and it is stuck in the yin organs. The qi mechanism is blocked, and it will cause pain, so the epididymis is painful;
gallbladder fire is reversed, and Shaoyang is stagnant, so the mouth is bitter and dry mouth is dry;
liver and gallbladder are damp and heat, and the bladder is urged, so the urine is yellow;
red tongue tip and stringy pulse are also the sign of liver meridian damp heat .
prescription takes Xiao Chaihu Decoction combined with Buqi and Tongluo prescription. Xiao Chaihu Decoction is the first prescription for regulating the liver through the ages. It can treat the exterior of the outside, the internal organs, and the middle can be harmonious with half the exterior and half the inside. Only by replenishing qi and unblocking the collaterals can make the qi and blood prosperous, and blood stasis remove the collaterals and unblocking the collaterals.
combined use can not only clear the dampness and heat of the liver and gallbladder, but also nourish qi, activate blood and unblock meridians.
