On the afternoon of September 9, people who walked into the outpatient hall of the First People's Hospital (hereinafter referred to as the First Hospital of the City) would have a shallow or deep understanding of the prevention and treatment of tetanus day as long as they watched a set of Tetanus Day publicity boards there and participated in the Tetanus Day publicity activities there.
In order to make more people pay attention to tetanus, the Animal Injury Treatment Branch of the China Medical Rescue Association proposed to establish the second Sunday of September each year as "Teta Day". It is hoped that through the joint efforts of all parties, the whole country will prevent and control tetanus, stay away from tetanus, and help the healthy Chinese dream. In his speech, Ye Ming advocated that when facing various trauma, tetanus should be prevented as soon as possible according to the wound classification. Vaccination with tetanus vaccine is the most economical and effective way to prevent tetanus at present. Tetanus antitoxin and tetanus immunoglobulin are passive immune preparations, with a protection period of only 10-28 days, used for emergency prevention; tetanus vaccine is active immunization and can provide up to 5-10 years of immune protection. According to the vaccination history and wound conditions, it is decided whether it is necessary to use, use alone or use both together, so as to achieve satisfactory prevention effects.
