In fact, eating well, drinking enough, sleeping enough, exercising more, maintaining a good attitude and hygiene habits, and improving one's own immunity are better than hoarding medicines. Remember, do not use drugs to prevent COVID-19. Not only is it useless, taking drugs indiscriminately may also cause adverse drug reactions, leading to damage to liver and kidney function, and do not believe in "small advertisements".
1. What should I do if I have symptoms?
For cases where there are asymptomatic or mild symptoms and no serious underlying diseases; or the underlying diseases are stable and there is no severe heart, liver, lung, kidney and other important organ dysfunction that requires hospitalization. It can be treated at home:
1. Try not to come into contact with other family members, do not share daily necessities, tableware should be disinfected after use, and infected people who share the bathroom should be disinfected after each use. If conditions permit, live in relatively independent rooms as much as possible.
2. Open windows regularly for ventilation to maintain indoor air circulation.
3. Maintain good hygiene, wash hands frequently, place infected persons’ personal belongings separately, and clean and disinfect them promptly. Items contaminated with saliva and sputum should be disinfected at any time.
4. Take personal protection, do not go out unless necessary, do not accept visits, and conduct antigen self-tests in accordance with relevant requirements.
5. Take your body temperature and drink plenty of hot water if you have no symptoms to ensure adequate nutrition and sleep.
6. If symptoms such as fever and muscle aches occur, symptomatic treatment or oral medication can be used.
2. How to use medicine at home?
You can choose different drugs according to different symptoms. The following table shows some commonly used drugs and their applicable groups.

Note:
(1) Please read the instructions carefully before use.
(2) Antipyretics should be used no more than 4 times a day, and the interval between each time should be no less than 4-6 hours.
(3) Antipyretics should be used continuously for no more than 3 days, and other drugs should be used for no more than 7 days.
(4) Infants under 1 year old should take medication under the guidance of a physician or pharmacist.
(5) It is not recommended to use compound cold medicines for children under 6 years old.
(6) The following table lists the ingredients of some commonly used compound preparations. Do not use the same ingredients together.

3. The most commonly used antipyretic and analgesic drugs acetaminophen and ibuprofen , how to choose?
Below we have listed some differences between the two medicines. You can choose according to your own situation and needs.

4. Medical treatment is required if the following situations occur:
1. Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath;
2. After drug treatment, the body temperature continues to be higher than 38.5℃ for more than 3 days;
3 .The original underlying diseases are significantly aggravated and cannot be controlled;
4. Children have lethargy, persistent refusal to eat, feeding difficulties, persistent diarrhea/vomiting, etc.;
5. Pregnant women have symptoms such as headache, dizziness, palpitation, and suffocation of breath, or have abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding or discharge, abnormal fetal movement, etc.
