In Shenfei, Wang Gang wrote an ultimate legend of milling and processing technology. At Fushun Petrochemical, the fitter Diao Kejian created a miracle of product research and development. In 1989, Diao Kejian graduated from the Technical School and became an fitter at the No. 3 Petroleum Plant of Fushun Petrochemical Company. With his unyielding spirit, he has become a legend of the workers of China National Petroleum Corporation through continuous efforts.

Diao Kejian taught himself computer technology and became a registered engineer of Microsoft . He once provided high-division IT professional services for Liaoning Province's public security system, securities system, etc.; Diao Kejian taught himself foreign languages ​​and used more than 10 electronic dictionaries. Now he can communicate with his foreign colleagues in two foreign languages: English and French. He is brave in innovation and has developed 14 scientific and technological achievements that have reached the world or domestic advanced level, of which 6 technologies have filled the domestic gap.

He successfully developed the world's smallest and lightest portable hydrogen sulfide alarm , which is only the size of a badge, which is equivalent to 1/40 of the most advanced foreign alarms. The alarm speed and sensitivity are 10 times that of international standards.

He developed the first intelligent fire extinguishing and explosion-suppressing security device in China, completing fire hazard detection, identification, calculation and driving the actuator within 35 milliseconds, completing the predetermined actions, filling the gap in the domestic security industry. On this basis, he completed the research and development of fire robots, intelligently extinguished fires within 1 second, eliminating the potential risks of fire and explosion accidents in the bud, and once again filling in the industry gap.

Diao Kejian's innovation ability and R&D results have also attracted the attention of companies such as Chinese Academy of Sciences and Huawei . The Chinese Academy of Sciences and Fushun Petrochemical jointly built a cooperative research station for the front line of production in Fushun . In this time, Diao Kejian introduced 12 national researchers, including 3 academicians, and more than 30 postdoctoral and doctoral students to the local area.

In 2019, the Fushun Model Worker Innovation Studio Alliance was established, and Diao Kejian was appointed as the leader of the alliance's R&D and transformation.The alliance brings together 90 model workers (employees) innovation studios and 600 model workers and craftsmen, covering more than 100 enterprises and radiating to tens of thousands of employees. The alliance has trained more than 1,800 employees for many enterprises, completed more than 900 types of technical inventions, technological innovations, technical research and process flow improvements, applied for nearly 100 national patents, saving and creating value of 210 million yuan.
