Today I came to our small vegetable garden again to observe the growth of radish .
The radish I planted after the beginning of autumn has grown from tender small buds to the big seedlings today. It seems to be growing well. I have planted 2 varieties of radish, green-skinned radish and red-skinned radish. They are crisp and refreshing to eat raw. Cooked food can be used as shredded radish pie, braised pork , fried radish meatballs , dumpling filling, and bun filling are all delicious.
As the saying goes, eat radish in winter and ginger in summer, and don’t ask a doctor to prescribe it.
Radish is a rhizome vegetable. It has good cold resistance and can overwinter normally. Radish is rich in vitamin C and trace element zinc, which helps enhance the body's immune function and improve disease resistance.
