The suspect is named Lee Ki-young (transliteration). He is 31 years old, born in the 1990s, and unemployed. According to the charges, on the night of December 20, he drove drunk and crashed into a taxi. On the pretext of making a private trip, he deceived the taxi driver into his home and killed him, and hid the victim's body in the closet. Later, Li Jiying discovered that his girlfriend found the body in the closet and called the police.

In August this year, Lee Ki-young was also suspected of killing the landlady who lived with him, who was over 50 years old. After the crime, the victim's body was dumped into the river.
