In this fast-paced era, writing long articles is a challenge. I am afraid that readers will not have the time and patience to read. This worry reminds me of the problem my writing guide, the junior high school Chinese teacher discussed with me: Should I first consider the readers to write, or write according to my original intention, and then resonate with the readers. I like reading since I was a child, and I started writing a diary in the third and fourth grades of elementary school, which can also be regarded as the beginning of practicing my writing style. As I started slowly, the composition I wrote occasionally became a model essay that Chinese teachers read in class. Starting from the sixth grade, I started writing some poems in my diary. Without learning the basic regulations on poetry, it is of course an imitation behavior.
Fortunately, when I was in junior high school in 1993, I was the best junior high school in the city, and the Chinese teacher I met, Mr. Ying, was an excellent teacher in the city and even in the province. I can't remember whether Teacher Ying was a member of the provincial or national writers' association. Under the guidance of Teacher Ying, I began to read, think, and learn to write widely.
Once the school organized a visit to Deng Zihui Memorial Hall and Houtian Riot Memorial Hall. After returning, as usual, everyone should write about their feelings. As a result, I wrote for three or four days before I finished the composition. After seeing the composition, Teacher Ying was very excited and said that he wanted to contribute to what writing competition to participate in (the one earlier than the new concept composition). So the two of them carefully changed the essay. Because I have never practiced hard pen calligraphy , the characters are not well written, and I think that a classmate who wrote a good character copied the modified manuscript and sent it to submission by Teacher Ying.
It’s too long, and my memory may be biased. A few days later, the manuscript was rejected. The reason is that when we sent it, the submission deadline had passed and it was invalid. In the post office in the 1990s, it was quite slow to send things. Because I wanted my article to be seen by others back then, there was only one way to contribute. Teacher Ying said that his manuscripts are often rejected, which makes me not discouraged and continue to write well.
In the second year of junior high school, I wrote couplets and speeches on the departure of our Young Pioneers and the first batch of Communist Youth League joining the Communist Youth League. It is said that for many years later, this couplet and manuscript were used. At least I was in the high school department of our school and I saw it even before. Some people also wrote some manuscripts of activities according to the requirements of the teachers in the year. Maybe it was because my youth highlights came too early and I had a little fame in a small range. Maybe it was because Jiang Lang had finished his talent, and later he didn't write any long manuscripts to submit. It is based on the composition model and gaining attention. Usually I write some poems, prose diaries, and occasionally help my classmates write love letters (in the eyes of classmates, this is more useful and practical).
For so many years, I always remember what Teacher Ying said to me, that the prose should be dispersed in form and spirit.
Time flies almost 30 years, Teacher Ying has retired and I am middle-aged. This era has entered the era of self-media. After graduating from university, of course, we mainly make money from work. Our own strength is not enough to make money from words to support ourselves and our family. As a result, at the end of October and early November this year, a severe epidemic broke out suddenly and was blocked at home. I often watch headlines and listen to music, and occasionally see the creator plan. So I joined on a whim and started writing and creation that has continued to this day, with old works and new changes and new works to try out the waters. Some people like it, some people follow it, and some people read it effectively.
