Heavy-duty gas turbines are usually used in aircraft carrier , industrial power generation and other fields, and the design and manufacturing difficulty is at the ceiling level. In the past, we did not master core technology, so we needed to import it to obtain it.
Because the position and role of heavy-duty gas turbines in the industry are extremely critical, we must complete the independence of this core equipment as soon as possible. In 2008, my country successfully developed and manufactured the first gas turbine, R0110, breaking the history of being monopolized. Since then, we have become the fifth country in the world to independently produce heavy-duty gas turbines.

As we all know, the EUV lithography machines that have plagued the development of our semiconductor industry have more than 100,000 parts, and the technology is involved and the difficulty of breakthrough is comparable to that of the sky. In fact, it is not difficult to make a breakthrough in heavy-duty gas turbines. Taking the F-class 50-megawatt heavy-duty gas turbine that broke through this time as an example, its components have reached more than 20,000. From design to manufacturing to testing, each step faces many technical difficulties, which are huge and complex.
