On June 4, 2022, the Gao Committee of the Fujian Surname Origin Research Association held an executive chairman (replacement group) meeting and an editorial meeting of the eighth issue of the "Fujian Gao" journal at the Xiamen club.
The meeting was chaired by Gao Jianshun, Chairman of the Fujian Provincial Capital. The presidents of various regions, cities, and districts introduced the recent activities of Gao in order of seating, and also expressed opinions on the president’s reelection. Everyone agreed that the reelection should be strictly carried out in accordance with the charter and should not be carried out in accordance with the regulations. Change the procedures stipulated in the charter at will for any reason or excuse.
During the meeting, President Jianshun suggested that because his company and local association were busy with work, he did not want to continue to be re-elected as president for the third term, and suggested recommending other candidates. After everyone's full consideration, they agreed to the request of Chairman Jianshun and elected Xiamen Association Chairman Gao Jincheng to take over the work of provincial capital president. Everyone voted unanimously by a show of hands. Specific matters related to the reelection work will be promoted by executive vice president and secretary-general Gao Zhuying according to the requirements of the provincial capital and in accordance with procedural steps.
During the meeting, Gao Yongchuan, executive editor of "Fujian Gao's" introduced the progress of the eighth issue of "Fujian Gao's" journal. Due to the delay in drafting due to the epidemic, not much information has been collected so far. It is hoped that various places will be based on the contents of each column. It is requested to provide information as soon as possible and strive to finalize it as soon as possible.
