Although the work was hard and tiring and a lot of sweat was put into it, at the same time, I also gained a lot of warmth, emotion and courage. Along the way, I had so many feelings, I was passionate, I had no hesitation, I was nervous and anxious, I was full of challenges, I sweated profusely, I dealt with it calmly, and it tells me my inner journey.

While working in designated hospitals, we cooperated with the medical staff here in a tacit understanding. Wearing thick protective clothing every day, the marks of the mask are deeply imprinted on the face, and the intense and busy work dissipates the inner suffering. The 80-year-old grandma here affectionately calls you sister, and some also call you little sister. Their words of thanks are the greatest affirmation of our work. What impressed me deeply was that a critically ill patient originally needed to be transferred to ICU, but he insisted on not wanting to be transferred. He said that he liked our Datong medical team and believed in our technology; there was also a patient whose anxiety was extremely obvious when he was first admitted. He is dissatisfied with everything and loses his temper at will. After careful care of him, he is now able to actively cooperate with treatment. There is also a lovely grandfather in his 90s who has to go home with his hands spread out every day and asks what should he do? Now he has been discharged from the hospital smoothly; after getting along with each other during this period, after knowing that we were about to embark on our return journey, the patient spontaneously wrote a thank-you letter and signed it, telling his gratitude and reluctance to our medical team. It seemed that he was happier than going home alone. Exciting, it is these simple touches that touch the heart the most. My eyes are fogging up when I look at it. There are no bystanders in front of the epidemic. The mutual help between people and the unity in the face of difficulties make the epidemic area extra warm and make victory right in front of us.

Trust and gratitude

On the road to fighting the epidemic, there are joys of success, sad stories, fatigue and sweat, but in the end they all turned into beautiful memories. I am grateful for my profession.
