A Thai naval warship sank in the Gulf of Thailand, warships and helicopters were working to rescue sailors from the water on Monday.
Navy said that as of mid-morning, 75 sailors had been rescued, and 31 were still in the water.
On Sunday night, strong winds blow sea water onto the HTMS Sukhothai frigate and destroy its power system. Royal Thai Navy dispatched three frigate and two helicopters with mobile water pumps to try to help the damaged ship by clearing sea water, but it was impossible to do so due to strong winds.
