According to the domestic media " Global Network " report on November 3, the Taiwan authorities originally planned to build 36 "anti-fighter forts" at the "Qingquangang Air Force Airport", that is, a downtime hangar with anti-bombing capabilities. To this end, some Taiwanese politicians also claimed that this project is "a super-machine fort that can defend against the bombing of the People's Liberation Army's Dongfeng series missiles."
Interestingly, although the slogans of the Taiwan authorities were blew up, many Taiwanese people did not buy it, believing that building the so-called "anti-fighting fort" was not only a waste of money, but also a suspicion of the Taiwanese authorities' attempt to "corruption". Of course, not only are Taiwanese people talking about this, but the plan has also been discussed by the Taiwanese authorities for several years, and there has been no result yet. What's more, there are relevant personnel from the Taiwan authorities who have compiled the so-called "construction budget", but many people who oppose the construction of the hangar think it is really "too expensive". Therefore, when the so-called "Legislative Yuan" of the Taiwan authorities reviewed the defense budget on November 2, Taiwanese politicians enthusiastically asked about the progress of the 36 "anti-fighter forts" projects, but the results they got were deeply disappointed.
Taiwan Air Force "Chief of Staff" Huang Zhiwei stated at the time that due to various reasons such as rising prices and shortage of labor and materials, the "anti-fighting machine fort" project has failed. This result suddenly made some Taiwanese politicians speechless. The senior executives of the Taiwan Air Force had previously vowed to say that the Taiwan military would implement the "one aircraft and one database" policy in the future and would gradually complete the construction of anti-fighter forts within a few years.
Because of this, the Taiwan authorities allocated approximately NT$4.4 billion (about RMB 1 billion) to consider building nine anti-fighter forts and their ancillary facilities from 2020 to 2026. Now the Taiwan Air Force claims that the project has failed, indicating that the Taiwan authorities will no longer consider building anti-fighter forts in a short period of time.
In fact, the Taiwan authorities have always believed that this kind of protection project is a "good solution". At least in their eyes, the People's Liberation Army's missile, and artillery fire strikes cannot penetrate this hangar, which can effectively protect the fighter from damage during takeoff. In addition, the Taiwan authorities also stated that the construction of the anti-fighter fort was designed to counter the People's Liberation Army's Dongfeng series missiles (1,500-pound warheads).
In addition, Taiwanese media reported in detail that each aircraft fort has the ability to withstand 3300 pounds of bombs. As long as the construction of this project is completed, the Taiwan authorities think that the PLA will not be able to destroy its fighter jets during wartime. However, dreams are "beautiful", but reality is cruel. Taiwanese people have mercilessly criticized the Taiwanese authorities for their idea.
Some Taiwanese people commented that although anti-fighter fortresses can theoretically protect Taiwan’s fighter jets from blows, what should we do if the runway required for fighter jets to take off? I'm afraid the Taiwan authorities are speechless. You should know that Taiwan's fighter jets do not take off and land vertically like helicopters, but need to fly into the air with a flat runway before they can form combat effectiveness.
If the People's Liberation Army directly destroyed the runway of the Taiwan Air Force Airport when it attacked Taiwan, then the Taiwanese fighter jets staying in the hangar were just scrap iron waiting to die. What's more, most of the models of Taiwan's fighter jets are relatively old, and there is a big gap between them, whether it is actually fighting ability or technical level.
In terms of tactical confrontation, the Taiwan Army has no chance of winning against the People's Liberation Army. From a strategic perspective, the scale of the People's Liberation Army's mobilization and attacks far exceed that of the Taiwan Army. No matter how thick or large the anti-fighter fortress built by the Taiwan authorities, it cannot recover the fundamental failure of the "Taiwan independence" strategy. In this way, it is better for the Taiwan authorities to use this money to improve people's livelihood.
In fact, many Taiwanese people are also tired of the "arms expansion" pursued by the Taiwan authorities, and some Taiwanese people question the DPP reactionary group invested a lot of money in the military field, and there was suspicion of abuse of power and corruption. Tsai Ing-wen and others often turn a deaf ear to the doubts of the people of Taiwan and pretend nothing happened.
However, the days when the "Taiwan independence" forces exist are coming to an end. Not only is Taiwan's return to the embrace of the motherland getting closer, but more and more Taiwanese people are also tired of the false propaganda of the DPP authorities.As time goes by, more and more young Taiwanese have stood on the front to support the reunification of the motherland and launched a confrontation with the elements who have been "Taiwan independence" in pursuit of the reunification of the motherland.
For such a situation, in the context of the Taiwan military trying to expand its military, Japan, the United States and other countries trying to interfere in our internal affairs, we are likely to take new actions in the future, on the one hand, defend the integrity of our territorial sovereignty; on the other hand, deter any overseas forces trying to intervene in our internal affairs.
On this basis, our original intention is still to maintain world peace and the situation is stable. However, if we are not wary, it does not mean we are not good at fighting.
