On October 28, Ukrainian armed forces destroyed four tanks and three ammunition depots in the Belislav and Nikolayev areas in southern Ukraine.
This is according to the Ukrainian Southern Operations Command, Ukrinform reported.
Over the past day, Russian planes launched eight attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements in the Berislav region liberated from Russian troops in early October.
In response, Ukrainian Air Force aircraft launched eight strikes on enemy troops and equipment concentration areas, the deployment of air defense system , and the strongholds in Nikolayev, Pervomeik and Berislav areas.
On October 28, Ukrainian missile and artillery troops carried out 160 firepower missions. The headquarters said the Russian occupation forces operating in the southern part of the country lost 34 soldiers, two Grad multi-barrel rocket launchers, , four tanks, three mortars, a Giatsint self-propelled gun and a towed howitzer.
It added that the Ukrainian military also destroyed four other cannons and a tank.
