Information shows that Maritime Self-Defense Force originally had two 10,000-ton passenger and cargo dual-purpose ferries, namely the "Natchan World" of the Tianjing Hirata Ferry Company and the "Baiou" of the New Japan Sea Ferry Company. Both ships are large high-speed ferries, among which the maximum speed of the "Natchan World" is 36 knots (the general speed of the warship 26-32 knots), and can carry hundreds of armored vehicles and nearly 2,000 people; while the "Baiou" has a displacement of 17,000 tons, a maximum speed of 29 knots, and its transportation capacity is also strong.

NHK said that after the scale is expanded, the 10,000-ton passenger and cargo dual-purpose ferries requisitioned by the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force will reach 6, which is three times the original one.
