In February 11942, Yang Zongxu was born in a farmer's house in Jingmen City, Hubei Province. The pursuit of the ancestors of the Yang family is a scholarly family. A plaque with the "Four Knowledges of Family History" is regarded as the ancestral teachings that have been passed down for hundreds of years, and is still hanging high above the main hall of my hometown. "Four Knows" means "Heaven Knows, God Knows, You Knows, I Knows". During this period, Yang Zongxu was not around when his mother fell ill, was hospitalized or died. The country is the best, and the small family must obey everyone. Even if loyalty and filial piety cannot be achieved at the same time, he still has no complaints. Obeying orders is the duty and true nature of a soldier.
1968 In the second half of 1968, Yang Zongxu went to Vietnam to participate in the aid Vietnam to fight against the United States. He was in the 2nd Company of the 24th Regiment of the 8th Anti-Air Artillery Division, and was at the time of the platoon leader. On September 22 of the same year, an enemy plane flew into our defense zone. The Second Company quickly used 85 guns (caliber 85 mm) to strike down the enemy plane with only 9 shells. In his 80s, Mr. Yang has been determined to cultivate himself with the "Four Knowledge" throughout his life, and still maintains a good style of hard work and simplicity after the army takes up leadership positions. He changed his job in a local area in 1986 and retired from the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions in 2002. His character and family style are the best gifts to his descendants.
After retirement, Yang Zongxu studied calligraphy and poetry couplets. He is currently a member of the Provincial and Municipal Poetry Couplet Society and a member of the Municipal Senior Calligraphy and Painting Research Association. In his spare time, creating poetry and practicing calligraphy became the joy of his later years.
