The successful development of the C919 large passenger aircraft and the acquisition of the model certificate marks my country's ability to independently develop world-class large passenger aircraft, and is an important milestone in the development of my country's large aircraft industry. After obtaining the model certificate

C919 large passenger plane completed all airworthiness certification work in September this year and obtained the model certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. Wang Yanan: C919 has been 12 years since the starting point of applying for airworthiness certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The most important thing in the entire airworthiness certification work is to focus on model certificates, because nearly 300 flight test projects at more than 3,000 experimental points are all targeted at model certificates. The model certificate is actually a verification of the aircraft design and is aimed at this type of aircraft. Obtaining the model certificate of C919 means that the Civil Aviation Administration of China in accordance with its own safety regulations, which are the provisions of our Civil Aviation Administration Department 25, has recognized that the design of C919 complies with the safety standards implemented by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and has proved that this compliance has reached a very good standard through test demonstration and analysis. This aircraft is qualified to be put into operation.

Wang Yanan introduced that after obtaining the model certificate, C919 will need to obtain two certificates:
Wang Yanan: For a civil aircraft, the model certificate is designed for the aircraft and is issued to the designer of the aircraft; the production license is targeted for the manufacturing facilities of the aircraft, which requires proof that the aircraft manufacturing facilities can produce more replicas according to the requirements of quality assurance, and have the same performance; Airworthiness Certificate is targeted at the individual aircraft after delivery, and is issued to the operator of the aircraft, that is, the airline, to prove that each aircraft individual is airworthy.
