After the first ship of 075 and 2 were put into service, the island did not have much feeling about it. Instead, it felt that 075 was not very useful in such a narrow place in the strait, and the displacement of 40,000 tons would also lead to its mobility reduction, thus becoming an excellent target for anti-ship missiles such as "Xiong San". However, this self-deception argument has become no longer a market with the first batch of No. 3 ships of the 075 Type 3. There has been a relatively clear analysis of the role of 075 in landing, and it has specifically pointed out that 075 will be able to carry multiple drones to participate in the operation, and will also disintegrate the shore defense combat plan that Taiwan has worked hard for many years with the "three-amil landing"!
075 As my country's first amphibious assault ship , the first batch of three ships have been completed. The first Hainan ship was listed in the Southern Theater Command in April 2021, and the Guangxi ship with hull number 32 was listed in the Eastern Theater Command in Taiwan in December 2021, and the No. 3, which had just been on the No. 33, will also be officially put into service recently. This means that the People's Liberation Army has the same "three-amil landing" capabilities as the US military! In this way, the ideal defense mode of "coastal decisive victory" and "annihilation of the enemy on the beach" that Taiwan defenders have worked hard for many years will become the "modern Maginot defense line". After all, both Taiwan and the US military now believe that the entire island is suitable for large troops to land, and the Taiwan Defense Force only needs to conduct multi-level key defense on these beaches.
But if 075 really starts to "play" the three-amil landing like the US military, then the landing troops do not need to pounce on these defenders with the greatest resistance, and can fully land on any beach. Although such a location is definitely not suitable for the large army, the heavy equipment transported from the amphibious armored vehicle and the hovercraft can be used to gain a foothold on the island to support the operations of the main offensive troops and attract the attention of the defenders. Of course, in order to perform three-dimensional landing operations of this scale, and to use a large number of helicopters at the same time, a large number of offshore helicopter platforms are required. In addition to the 075 platform that specializes in providing a large number of helicopter takeoff and landing, the People's Liberation Army has accumulated a lot of other military and civilian maritime platforms in the past two years that can be used as helicopter takeoff and landing platforms.
