Since ancient times, no one has died, leaving a loyal heart to illuminate history. Wen Tianxiang's article " Crossing the Ding Yang " has become a heroic portrayal of many people with lofty ideals. During the Anti-Japanese War, countless martyrs sacrificed their lives for victory. Finally won national liberation and people's independence. The anti-Japanese hero we are going to talk about today is named Samurai Min. He unfortunately died in a battle with the Japanese army. Eventually the place where he rested was named after him.

Samurai Min was born in Huai'an County, Hebei in 1892. My family is in a good situation and I have been exposed to new education since I was a child. At the age of 16, he was admitted to Xuanhua Middle School. After seeing the critical situation faced by the Chinese nation at that time, he decided to join the alliance and seek a path that could save the country from fire and water.

As the revolution continued to deepen, the trend of freedom and democracy spread throughout China. In 1912, Yuan Shikai stole the fruits of the revolution and became the President of the Republic of China. Three years later, he changed his tune, restored the imperial system, and appointed himself Emperor of the Chinese Empire. This shameless act aroused strong opposition from people across the country. Samurai Min also joined the action to defeat Yuan Huguo.

With the demise of Yuan Shikai, the land of China fell into the chaos of the Beiyang warlords' separatist regime. Samurai Min joined the Northwest Army where and Feng Yuxiang were located and entered Shaanxi. At that time, the Northwest Army received greater support from the Soviet Union, and Feng Yuxiang also supported Mr. Sun's three major policies of "alliance with Russia and the Communist Party to support workers and peasants." In 1925, Samurai Min was personally sent to the Soviet Union by Feng Yuxiang for inspection. Therefore, Samurai Min has always had very deep feelings for the Communists.

With the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Samurai Min was very angry in the face of Chiang Kai-shek's policy of "reconciling the internal situation before resisting foreign aggression". With the occurrence of the Xi'an Incident, he firmly supported the righteous deeds of his old friend Yang Hucheng. In the end, it led to the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and contributed to the joint anti-Japanese united front. He also personally led his troops out of the Shaanxi base camp to cross the Yellow River and fight the Japanese invaders on the front line.

Although the alliance between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party has been formed, there are still many stubborn national army generals who harbor malice and prejudice against the Communist army and often hinder our troops on the battlefield. For example, in 1939, Yan Xishan betrayed his faith and launched an attack on our party's troops. However, Samurai Min has a strong sense of national justice, always gets along well with our army, and actively cooperates during battles, becoming a model of friendly cooperation between the two armies.

In May 1941, the Japanese army assembled more than 100,000 people to launch an attack on Zhongtiao Mountain, where Samurai Min was stationed. Although the Kuomintang troops numbered 200,000, the battle collapsed at the drop of a hat. More than 40,000 people were captured, and 20,000 were captured. Many people surrendered voluntarily, and all other troops crossed the Yellow River and became deserters.

Only an army led by Samurai Min persisted in resisting, and together with the Eighth Route Army, they moved around Shanxi to fight guerrillas. At that time, there were traitors who persuaded him to surrender. Warrior Min was furious: "I am a Chinese soldier, and I will die on the anti-Japanese battlefield!" Then he shot the traitors who came to persuade him to surrender to show his ambition.

In September of the same year, the enemy concentrated its forces to attack Samurai Min's headquarters. An army was surrounded by 30,000 Japanese troops in Qinshui County . Samurai Min remained calm in the face of danger and rushed to the front line in person to try to organize a breakout. Helplessly outnumbered, he was eventually wiped out. Samurai Toshi was also hit by a stray bullet from the enemy. Before he died, he shouted, "Fight to the end, or you will succeed if you don't succeed!" He was 49 years old at the time.

After the death of General Xinhua Daily, "Xinhua Daily" published special topics and condolence articles to commemorate this patriotic general who put national friendship first and would rather die than surrender. After General Zuo Quan, known as the "model soldier" of our army, heard about Samurai Min's death, he personally wrote an elegiac couplet for him to commemorate his close friend. Samurai Min's reputation in our army is evident.

In order to commemorate the bravery of Samurai Min, he was recognized as a revolutionary martyr, and Qinshui County, where he died heroically, was renamed Shimin County to commemorate this anti-Japanese hero who repeatedly performed extraordinary feats. His patriotism deserves to be remembered forever
